I think I feel it is worth buying as it is a collection of all rare events over a period of 20 years. We cant see the book as a set of some pages. We see Poolan Devi's life, and even Bin Laden's life (wont be surprised if book releases on Kasab on 26/11) in the form of books with Exorbitant costs. Why not for an achiever like Kumble.

There are cricketeers that stand out as they come in & then need a certain attitude to make their talent count - Kumble alongwith Sachin, Dravid & Laxman have given India a lot of pride in the cricketing world with their class acts both on & off he field! Being in the same age group as theirs, I have often seen them as great models of inspiration & try & emulate some of the humility they reflected in their success, the passion they had for the sport they played with both their hearts & pride notwithstanding the maturity with which they handled their successful careers! Unfortunately as most of them are gearing up for their last ride as they move into the sunset of their illustrious careers, except for MS Dhoni & Zaheer Khan, we dont seem to have such gentlemen grace the sport anymore. I always tell my son to look upto these great gentlemen but can't seem to get him inspired to model himself if at all, into the likes of a Yuvraj, Harbhajan or a Sreesanth! We desperately need the calibre of cricketeers like Kumble, Sachin & Dravid whom our children can look upto to inspire themselves if the lineage of cricket has to stay going forward, for it is such individuals that grace t
