Thank God Krish has some head and not went on too made M Vijay as captain,first of all M Vijay is not T20 player and second is poorer ability to run fast singles and thirdly due to second reason put pressure on Hayden and others for scoring fast and indirectly losing wickets ,Kris Srikanth wake up and bring back Parthiv patel as opener and now as Dhoni injured sure shot losing tempo to start....

Hyden would have been good choice but its good from indias prespective. we can see his ablity as a captian.

Thats because this is Chennai/TN. Hemang Badani (Guju origin) Aashish Kapoor (Punjabi origin) Robin Singh (West Indian origin) all were good players and get to represent TN.
Bottom line TN is a professional Cricketing State. Good players get to lead and play

Bhai whatever, unlike other teams, its Good that an Indian has been appointed as an Captain, I believe only an Indian should be allowed to Captain in an IPL teams... Go ahead Raina u have an Long long way to go...

Yaar Marathi, for the simple reason that Krish Srikkanth is more concerned about ability , unlike Balasaheb and Raj are, whose sole criteria to judge a person would be whether they are Marathi Manoos or not.

One of the goals of IPL is to give more opportunities to Indian players. So, it is a right decision to appoint Raina as Stand-in
