Yusuf Pathan's 100 and performance in the IPL match against Mumbai was good. But what is the use. His 100 was in vain. Based on this one performance only we cannot conclude that he is good player. He is an average player only. His average in T20 is only 29. Let him work hard definitely he can come up

Right said Partha..this guy is truly a joy to watch and he is a great striker of the ball...we all should be proud of him.
Yusuf is a big talent we have. Have always admired his game. never seen him come on to the field half hearted. 100% commitment is what he has on his mind always. Wish him all the best, no matter who he plays.
I know guys are commenting about Pathan not hitting against Zaheer and Malinga. Guys give him some credit, if he doesn't know how to be there in the wicket or know how to hit the ball around he would not have made a hundred in the first place. I don't know how many of you who are commenting plays cricket at any level. If you do play I am sure you will appreciate hitting every ball of every player is not cricket and it is base ball. Give Yusuf the credit he deserves. I agree he is not a match winner or a great player but he is certainly a good player. I simply hope he continues his form when he comes out to bad with the Indian cap too.
Some reader has comment that YP did not hit Zaheer and Malinga. well if he would have, that would have made him great player, but than what about Zaheer and malinga? Isn't both of them Great Bowlers

but u know what viru can kick the a s s es of both the gr8 bowlers!! so thats what ppl are trying to say......sorry, although i luved his 100 i cannot praise him as he never does it when he wears the team "india" jersey!!
I congratulate Yusuf Pathn for his superb 100 in first T20 but what happened in second match? Yusuf needs to maintain consistency. Also needs to perform well in one days international and T-20 international as well.
YP played very well against Mumbai. But could not hit Zaheer or Malinga the way he hit other less talanted bowlers. YP needs to prove he can also hit world class bowlers before he can be seriously considered as an asset to the Indian T-20.
