it's good news that one of the most respectable the great batsman is willing to join IPL. it was a great loss to IPL not having him in any format. And After some years he should join as coach of BCCI.
HE IS YOUNGER THAN SACHIN AND MCGRATH...SO IF THEY CAN PLAY WHY CANT HE PLAY....NOW I M SURE HIS BIDDING WILL CROSS THE AMOUNT SPENT ON DHOBI (GUD FOR NOTHING) WHO CANT HELP CSK TO REACH EVEN FINALS IN LAST 2 YEARS...

Brian Lara, Sachin Tendulkar & Sanath Jayasuriya - If Lara joins Mumbai Indians then there is no need to play till final. MI are moral winners with this combination. It will be good watching Lara play IPL.

Excuse me i dont agree from your comment on MSD.. If he is good for nothing than y he is known as the most successfull Captain of India..And if u have enough guts than go n play for CSK.. Its very easy to comment from here rather to play on ground..Write Sensible comments..

Ojha sahab it is not our work to play for csk. but i agree with you on the point u made that dhoni is the most successfull caption of India. Thanks

he is known as successful captain because of a good team not because of his performance. individually he is good for nothing.

Well Said mate. MSD is good for nothing. The team is in No.1 position not because of him. There is 10 other players who is contributing for the team besides coach Gary Kirsten. Its not dhobi's magic to get the no.1 position.

Do not forget that the same team was kicked out of 2007 50-50 world cup and then won the T20 world cup under dhoni.. the other players except big 4 were same...he won the world cup with his charisma...we know that Yuvraj singh, Harbhajan, Raina can not achieve this if made captain. Even the great Sachin could not be a good captain with the same team.

Dont be jealous of Dhonionly because he does not belong to your state. It is he who chopped off all the dead woods and gave chance to youngsters & results are showing right now.

Dhoni is useless. He shld copy dada. Why he does not turn yellow by seeing fast bowler/fast pitches?
Re: Re: CHOICE
by JAYANT BASU on Mar 16, 2010 08:49 PM
Dear Sinhaji
Why dhoni will copy Dada He is very good at batting only thing he has to learn captaincy from Dada This is what he is lacking When you write yellow things this clearly shows your upbringing may be at Bihar
Re: Re: Re: CHOICE
by JAYANT BASU on Mar 16, 2010 08:57 PM
Dear Sinhaji,
Do you really like the yellow colour so much why it is so We like other colours Have you ever played cricket or were thinking of only yellow and never played the game
Re: Re: CHOICE
by JAYANT BASU on Mar 16, 2010 08:54 PM
Sinhaji,
Dont behave like a fool, behave in a responsible manner Dhoni has to take at least 10 births to even come closer to Dada, Dont disrespect Dada, 9 out of 10 guys would opt Dada as a better leader You are degrading yourself and your state, The present CM of Bihar is trying so hard to give a good image of Bihar but you are painting it with yours and Dhonis yellow things

i hope u know the image of kolkata/bengalis better who are nowadays good at nothing. just fighting/abusing people.
Top three English Premier League club is considering buying a stake in one of two new teams in next year’s Twenty20 cricket Indian Premier League.England’s Marylebone Cricket Club is also discussing with him the possibility of buying a stake in an IPL team.
the IPL - if it wants to brand itself next to nfl,nba and english premier league NEEDS to buy TODAYS current best players- not old grandfathers who will say whatever to appease dumb indian public just to make some more retirement money. Either get the current best players or dont compare yourself to REAL professional leagues. What an Idiotic Premier League it is.

You are right man. Although I would hope it will become professional in years to come after all the dust has settled. We as Indians have just got our hands to the official stars of the world status and we are trying to fit in everything. I think IPL has got a solid product and the concept is sound except for all the unnecessary publicity stunts. One would hope that it will turn into a professional unit in years to come.

dude ... always remember ... OLD IS GOLD ... a 100 years rum bottle has better taste than the yeterdays mnfgd one.
I hear somebody in this blog writing about how Brian Lara should get to coaching the West Indies team for their betterment. Wot a STUPID joke. Brian Lara has served the Stupid West Indies team for nearly two decades. He has produced some brilliant knocks only to see the Stupid worthless Windies Team loosing 3-0 or 5-0 to other teams. He has gone thru so much tough times for the stupid Windies team. Lara shouldnt get associated with the worthless West Indies team ever after this. Enuf of his sacrifices to this hopeless team. BRIAN LARA if you are listening please make an entry to the IPL the next season. Indian Public are eager to see the two Legends of the Game Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara play in the IPL.

by Santhanam on Mar 15, 2010 11:12 PM
LARA unfortunately was not lucky enuf to be a part of good teams like India or Australia & had to play in a STUPID WORTHLESS West-Indies team. Even then he has served the game so well and would go down in history as one of the best batsman the world has ever seen along with another Cricketing legend of his time Sachin Tendulkar. Cheers to Brian Lara for giving his best to the worthless West-indies team who didnt have any shame in loosing 3-0 and 5-0 to other teams inspite of Lara's stupendous contributions. Lara would always be remembered as one of the Cricketing great of all time. Three Cheers BRIAN LARA.

Hey, Do not attack me.Iam speaking the truth. Please around the world are concerned about the decline of the west indies cricket.Everyone wants the windies to weave their calypso magic as they did in the 80s.Please correct me if Iam wrong in feeling for this team. I have sincerely wish that Brain Lara gives something back to the Windies cricket as a coach and try to achieve what he could not do as a player and captain in Windies cricket. And after all, what is wrong in me saying this.He knows all the Windies players from Adrain Bharath,Gayle and Chandrapaul. He could be a great coach. Why should he not give it a try? Also in IPL,veterans like Mcgrath were humiliated. He was warming the bench in the second IPl.If that is the wish of his own and the Indian crowd, then so be it!!Why I should take concern and waste my time on it?
Note: As you have talked about my post two times,I have also posted it two times.

Lara is not as great as projected here. In fact, Lara was/is one selfish greedy man.
