Rediff's cricket reporting reminds you of school grade cricketing reports being filled out by novices. Maybe school newpaper reporters also would do a better job. Prem's exit has left a huge void in rediff. His blog is great but still always keep associating rediff with Prem's writings. Have to get used to the fact that this is what you are going to get with rediff. BTW, if anyone is interested, read Siddartha Vaidynathan's piece on Dravid's innings in Jamica. Really well writtn.

I think players like Dhoni Yusuf are all power but lack technique. If u recall, Dhoni started off with a bang in the home and Pak series. But in the next NZ series he couldn't play well. People say he has modified his game. Truth is he struggles where there is movement in the pitch. Yusuf is of the same category but not as worse. Yusuf needs some time to get his eye in. But Dhoni would promote himself up, waste deliveries and put too much pressure on Yusuf and Raina. Thats y yusuf has failed. Rohit sharma is gifted but is laid back and lacks temparement.

Dhoni is having a very cool head and tremendous attitude towards the game. Also he is a savior not coz of his technique but coz of his will power. Raina and Yusuf are good, but couldn't handle pressure situations. Rohit Sharma is having lot of attitude in him. He is a kind of proudy cricketer.
dhoni as a captain has best cricketer in the team so winning is easy ,but he should learn from warne ,he has converted all small players into big performers ,this is captainship
Many People Appreciate Yousuf performance but forgets he has hit sixes only to second level bowler. But he has not faced Zaheer or Malinga, so comparing his Innings with sachin is uselss. Bt still it was a fine innings. to be appreciated

yes dear,and mostly we appreciate people like sachin and sehwag.Ponting played 3 world cup and won aus won 2 and shane played and aus won 2 and was 3 times man of the man in wc semi and final.What Sachin has given us in 4 world cup?.Then why should we have to blame pathan.Let him play his game and entertain us.

Yes the bowling standard in IPL is really not as good as International games. That's why IPL matches are high scoring.

Recently in African series half of the Indian team was out with injuries....Yuvraj, Zahir, Shewag, Srisant etc....but suddenly in IPL all injuries seems to have disappear...sab paisa ka khel haa....

Unfortunately some believe that no one should be praised apart from sachin! Yousuf made a mistake by scoring a 37 ball hundred which led to warne praising him which some don't apprectiate! lol
He is a very good domestic player because the the quality of bowling is not of international standard. When he goes to international cricket his technique of trying to hit every ball does not work as the quality of bowlers is much better. He also cant change his game to adapt to the situation hence at the moment he is not sucessful at international level
