Yes, a person need to be punished for any wrong doing. But, some times, a person shall be given a punishing sentence to make him understand that he is not in the right path, and, this itself is an ordeal for him. So, on appeal, he should be called for the disciplinary proceedings and shall be punished even financially by reducing the ban totally. Playing is an experience and such a young player should not be robbed of it keeping in mind our National Interest Which is Paramount.
Whether these things are taken into cognizance while taking this decision? It seems that BCCI out of its sheer ego of position seems to have taken this decision rather than taking the decision keeping in mind the NATIONAL INTEREST. Let us all hope better sense prevail on these guys.

word NATIONAL INTEREST is mis fit here. Playing jadeja in IPL is no connection with national interest. IPL itself is a money spinning organisation and eying for more money by jadeja is purely due to business mentality. Do not club such issues with national interst which is entirely different man,

National Interest is right here. Can you say he is India player. He represented successfully and bowled well in ODIs against SA. When he is accused for contract negotiation, why he was denied till end 09 on renewal and kept as under 19 player by RR. Why no one questions there. IPL is all for administrators, players take your lolly pop. Banning a talent in 2020 when all & sundry, say 20 year old SA paceman can play.
