Fmr Oz PM for ICC role
by Bodh Ramdeo on Mar 02, 2010 07:57 PM

At least he's a 'former' govt official, whereas Pawar is still a present govt official. Only in this fetid country can politicians hold high govt office while simultaneously holding high office in private sector, and the more the merrier- Pawar, Min Of Agri, Boss of Maha Cricket, Boss of NCP and soon "Boss" of ICC, if only for 2 years.

This guy himself is a big racist. Even when he is PM, he said Murali is a chucker which was uncalled for.
Many Aussies think racism is not a big deal.

Calling a bowler with suspect bowling action a chucker proves you are a racist? :)

Great logic... :)

Many Indians would overnight transform into racists under your new regime then... :)

That Sachin, Harbhajan & Co start pushing him around also in India-Australia fixtures, just like Ricky Ponting did to Sharad Pawar. Then the Aussies will know, what it is to be paid back in one's own coin.

It was not Ricky Ponting. Michael Clarke pushed Sharad Pawar after getting the trophy.

Sure. I am sure ICC will definitely take your expert advice that he's #1 Racist and keep him out of office.. :)

I am well aware that you were instrumental in placing Barack Obama in the Whitehouse and I have full confidence in your ability to repeat that feat with the ICC Presidency too... ;-)

..are you sure ? if i am not wrong the racist attacks in australia started after John Howard and his party went out of office.Howard is a out and out a cricket fan and to me appears to be a better choice than Sharad Pawar because he can devote full time to cricket.

Read properly...Sharad powar will be ICC president for 2011 and 2012 and Howard will take over from Powar starting from 2013 for two years as per rotation policy of ICC.
