Yuvraj is not a "Test" class batsman. He never was and he never will be. He has not done of any significance in ODIs and T20 since he hit 6 sixes in 2007 T20 world cup. He is the most unfit player in the team and has more ego/attitude problems than his caliber as a cricket player. He will be in the team at the cost of some truly deserving player. He should not be part of Team India in any format of the game, until he proves himself in the domestic level. As a matter of fact I don't remember him ever playing in any domestic tournaments. When he is not playing internation games, he is busy either flirting with someone or doing modelling and ramp walks.
I believe it is better to remove the present selection panel and replace them with Ganguly, Kumble and Ravi Shastri. These three will definitely help to select good youngsters to fill the shoes of great trio of all the time (Sachin, Dravid and Laxman). The present committee is too biased and they don;t have much international exposure. Also they are not superstars who contributed to victories etc. They are only interested in satisying their regional feelings. One will select only Tamil Nadu players as if they are legends. really don't understand the selection criteria. Don;t know why Vijay Murali when he failed so miserably for last one year. Also they are players who deserve selection and they are not getting the opportunities.

dhobi is million times more regional than sriknath & thats why always play 9-10 north indians in ODI/T20 while srikanth give only 1-2 TN players chance. Blame dhobi more than srikanth

Boss, it is not a question of how many players of a perticular region play in a team. It is a question of who is suitable for the team. The captain would be responsible for any failure and his head would be on the block for any failures. No way would he take in his favourites simply because he likes his face!

To revive dhobi batting in test. Everone know dhobi can score only aginst teams like slk/pak/zim/BNG etc. See his score against Aus/SA/ENg etc- It is pathetic. same is true with his young flat track bullies friends like yuvi, raina, kohli, gambhir etc.

i am nt a fan of dhoni, but let me tel u in 2007 in england it was dhoni who saved us a test match when we almost lost it and ensured we won the series.... before we comment we should check how good are we in front of those whom we comment

c'mon...it was heading towards "draw"....india didnt enforced followon...there was a big lead....though india lost early wickets, there was absolutely no chance for england victory.....it ended ina tame draw....cetainly dhoni's innings was not a mtach saving one....it was heading towards draw..
We are blessed by the kindness of BCCI to witness the trio of Dravid,Sachin and VVS for 11 more test matches (hopefull no injuries). It would be too greedy to expect them to be there for the 2012 tour to DownUnder. Thank you BCCI

he needs only 4,5 tests to complete 50 centuries in tests and may be 10 or more to complete 50 in One dayers. Do you think he will retire than?

neglected..!!!! who!!!!! c'mon guys....he is still playing...not retired or out of cricketing scene....all "kannadiga" players are similar in nature...not "media savvy"...no "phalthu" statements....only "world class" performances.....quite and highly effective...true match winners....srinath, prasad, kumble, dravid, vishwanath, kirmani, prasanna, chandra....are all world class....

he was a superstar, is a superstar and will remain a superstar for all the cricket lovers in India. He does not need to dance in the parties like Yuvraj to prove himself.
