Cricket is a comedy show - just 8 teams playing 4 of which are part time. All teams have just Indians, Srilankans an Pakistanis in it in different jerseys - all lipid sacks. Practically 3 worthless nations playing a worthless game. Just one footballer in any of these countries make big - that will be THE END of cricket comedy show.

Too much cricket should be blamed for India's dismal performance in T20 WC. After a good rest, this team has won Asia cup and that too after a gap of 15 years. Henceforth, cricet administrators should learn and make FTP such that players get enough rest between tournaments. IPL IV having 94 matches is a ridiculous idea. People say it is a domestic tournament and every big player have to decide if they want to participate or not. The same people do not realize that there is too much money at stake.....hence players will not miss this tournament running the risk of exaustion, fatigue, injuries and loss of form.

Corret, North Indians Virat Kohli, Jadeja, Dhoni, Gambhir and Sehwag hit half century or century every matches.

It is high time we indians fight among ourselves .... It is time to get matured and mock at the Desh Drohis .... When will you guys learn from our past mistakes....History repeats itself again and again ....
raina perfect replacement for yuvi..sehwag shud be shown the door permanently..he underperformed deliberately. anyways, congrats team India. dhoni again proves his might!!

Of course he is very destructive, but what about the matches in which he doesnt perform. doesnt it mean he is wasting his wicket?? Not only sehwag but every inconsistent player should be dropped beause they only waste their wickets whenever they fail.
Cricket fans, don't get carried away by this isolated one-off success of the Indian team. Consistency is important. Don't reap praises on the team until they start winning consistently. Any victory is welcome, but don't over react, whether victory or failure!
where are the people who were criticizing him for the last couple of months just 'coz of a poor show in the ridiculous t-20 format. the guy's won us tests matches on a regular basis be it in England(2007),against Australia(2008),against England(2008),in New Zealand(2009) etc....he's a world class bowler who just proved his worth yesterday as well. a guy who can win u games in test cricket can win u games anywhere and everywhere. And anyways,t-20 is a graveyard for the bowlers....Carry on Zak....u along with Nehra are gonna be our spearheads.

the 2nd eleven is as good as the seniors. when india lost the ICC T20, losing all the group matches, and could not enter the semifinal, the state of affairs of indian cricket was understood by sincere cricket lovers.
dhoni, ghambir, continuously failed in IPL matches in India, schewag was out with injury, the other openers succeeded in patches. the best bowling combination of zahir khan and harbajan singh could not ensure victory to mumbai eleleve. few teams won few matches but on the strength of isolated individual performance. sachin had declared himself out of ICC tour. that was the time to introspect and not after the tri series in zimbabwe.
there is lethagy and the lack of application had set in among the top crickteers. ruthless action required to bring them to normal. no selection for any two consequetive two failures. not the 36 not out at the end of 60th over of gavaskar, but but one that gets wickets and runs when required to win.
