Shoaib Akthar 'V' guesture is not a victory sign
by DolfKing on Jun 20, 2010 07:58 PM  | Hide replies

I read most Indian media interpreting Shoaib Athar gesturing 'V' with his two fingers a sign of Victory to Bhaji....infact that is a very rude gesture all around the world and means 'F**k off'.

It is rude when the two fingers are shown to you backwards, exactly as shoaib did. Victory two fingers are gestured with face of the palm......

Why Jadeja in the team?
by surya das on Jun 20, 2010 03:24 PM  | Hide replies

I was wondering last night, why he is playing in Indian team despite of series of filure in Zimbawe, and WI, but it seems management does not want to learn from their past mistakes. My questions are :

If Yuvi is out of form(as per chief selector's voice is concern), then why he did not give a match practice in Zim so that he could ve played against Zim and SL ( their rest players), then he should ve got his confedence back, and can be a much better player in the middle order. Rohit sharma is inconsistance, and Jadeja is a mess in between.

Instead of Jadeja, Ojha should ve given chance, as he is the leading wk taker.

If M Vijay was shown the door cause of his failure, then Jadeja should ve given similar treatment.

I'm worried about our fast bowling attacks, as Nehra is out of form, as well as Ishant.

why cricket is not popular around the world??
by Rizwan Khan on Jun 20, 2010 03:03 PM  | Hide replies

Why is cricket not popular around the world? I think it is due to the fact that one has to dedicate an entire day in front of a TV. People in developed nations have got lifes to live, work to do. Also the fact that it is boring!!

It makes me wonder why it is not popular around the world..

The Indian win is good, Harbhajans big hitting a bonus
by avinash on Jun 20, 2010 02:04 PM  | Hide replies

Pakistan victory should boost Indian confidence.Pakistan played with excellent attack, and quality spin and pace attack was visible.Indian Batsman will be confident after the victory. Indian batsman require some specialists to take the last ball of the match in such cliffhanger situations.Harbajans big hitting was a bonus for india.

from a very strong situation
by Rajesh Bangad on Jun 20, 2010 01:43 PM  | Hide replies

win is great but msd must analyse from a situation with only two wickets down and a run per ball india were on the brink of loosing the match till the last butone ball. Why a comfortable win could not be achieved. It is high time that India drop Rohit sharma, Zaheer Khan and only one chance to Nehra.

One team wins one teams looses
But one thing was sure, each and every player was playing their heart out against Pakistan and the result was evident
Sehwag was applying himself, so was rohit sharma and even zaheer khan and ashish nehra

And that is good news for the country and well captained MSD

This win buries the ghost of Javed miandad six at sharjah where most the matches seemed fixed

Khudos to BCCI for not playing in middle east any longer
