I agree Mr Pawar is the biggest gunda in the bigger picture and corrupt to the core. But one thing I cant understand, if he has stake in Pune team's proposal, how that is rejected? Can any one explain? Is it a trap to divert the attension from some where else?

What Mr. Shah is trying to say is that IPL is free from match fixing, but in all other non-IPL events match fixing is very much there.
His statement should have been that there are strict mechanisms in place for any form of cricket being played as far as match fixing is concerned. So by just mentioning IPL he is trying to hide the obvious.

Mr. Pawar is in dock

for his criminal nexus with IPL pune Franchise bid. He made the Maharashtra govt loose the Entertainement tax on IPL. Now its clear that MCA (Maharashtra cricket Association) Letter to "city Corpn Ltd" dated 19th March 2010 prooves that its Resolution dated 16th. march was a doctored document planted just to hood wink the people of India when the revelation about Mr. pawar's involvmment in Pune Franchise came to light. Even Mr. Shasjank manohar hsa distanced from Mr. Pawar signalling BCCI's non defense of Mr. pawar. So as MP he mislead the nation,if Mr. Tharoor was asked to quit on eithical and moral turpitude, why PM should spare Mr. Pawar, who was instrumental in price rise of many basic items.

Why The Agri Minister is recklessley trying to give SPIN to proove his innocense. His Head is spinning on his Shoulder. The MP cant qoute the name of Mr Srinivasn of BCCI, an ordinary citizen on the grounds of Conflict of Interest.

Mr. Pawar also cliams that when he was the BCCI president, the board had given permission that any BBCI memmber have his team bid for IPL. If that be the case, Why the MP and his daughter MP were parroting their non- involvement in IPL when IPL Skeletons were falling in the Public domain. Now enough is enough of this Charade and PM should tell Mr. pawar to follow the foot steps of Mr. Tharror.

match fixing
by Anupam Rastogi on Jun 07, 2010 06:04 PM

the outright refusal by mr. Shah of Gilchrist comments on match fixing is just a face saving against a money spinner. IPL is every thing sans the sport. The nexus between politicians, corporate world and buerocrats are coming to surface. Still lot os embedded of this sporting extravaganza. The denial confirms more. When everything is for money, then why match fixing is ruled out. The tamasah should over, lest the biggest loser will be the game itself.

Actually during Olympics there will be no other tennis tournement., So they have only olympics., ALL should blame ICC for giving schedule for NZ series., Its not BCCI fault.,
