Mr Manohar...i dont understanding y u r blaming Mr Modi only... there was 14 members in Governing Council and you saying that only Modi was taking decision...How it is possible ? If Mr Modi is taking all the decision than it means that you are not a person who can lead the BCCI....Mr Manohar u r also culprit as everything is going on under U....so play safe...

Modi is bringing the facts to the public
by Shesh Lak on Jun 05, 2010 08:17 PM  | Hide replies

It is because of the Modi episode we see all the hidden truth about the BCCI and IPL.
Mr. Amin is not a kid and there is no point being influnced by Modi. I would ask Mr. Manohar how come someone be ready to invest 100s of crore just because so and so person persuaded him or her. Do these people have any self conscienceness of not? They are adults and Modi didn't ask Amin to bid on gun point.
SO MANOHAR stop this nonsense justification and fooling 100 billion Indians.
It's a shame on our country's judicial system to let these people walk free when we see real evidence. This is the reason why we don't get our dues in the world front though we represent 1/5 of the world population.

Then the our crooks like Kalmadi will start using it for their personal gain.
Bottom line, no politician should be involved in any of the sport's body. It should only be headed by someone who have represented the game at the international level.

Manohar - Your argument doesn't convince!
by Talisman on Jun 05, 2010 07:57 PM  | Hide replies

You have appointed as head of a billion $ organization a fellow that had a business interest in the same organization. Now, isn't that a conflict of interest?

Who cares whether Modi asked him or someone else did. This Amin fellow was willing to shell out millions of dollors from his own pocket and you have made him the chairman of the very orgnization.

Manohar - your argument misses the main point.

Yes, he's on very weak grounds with his arguments, in fact he doesn't look bright. Anyone may advise anyone on investments. Dimwit Manohar has played into Modi's hands.
