Pawar Power
by rajesh doshi on Jun 06, 2010 10:16 PM

Pawar has proved that in India:

1. if you have Power, you can get away with anything. Even daylight robbery such as this IPL stake. Who knows whether Deshpande is only a front and Pawar and his family is actually the entire owners of City corporation.

2. That people can be considered to be fools. how else can one explain a statement to say that the MD of a Company acted in his personal capacity.

3. Congress should realise that in this matter, it is their reputation (whatever is lef of it) is getting lost.Rahul, yor are not going to win people if you do not take action on such blatant corrupt practices.

PAWAR POWER - CORRUPTION STINKS
by rajesh doshi on Jun 06, 2010 10:11 PM

Mr. Pawar really believes that our Country is made up of fools and idiots and a Country where law is only for enforcing on the oppressed. Sadly, the Prime Minister sacked Tharoor by calling him to his residence when Tharoor's friend is involved. Here, Pawar and his filthy daughter openly deny basic corporate principles and rules suggesting a company's decison was taken personally! Do they understand that the Board of the Company could not have taken a decison without their involvement. Everybody in India and every child in Maharashtra knows that Pawar is the most corrupt person in the Country. Look at the prices of Agricultural commodities since he has taken over the ministry and look at the speculation in food products on the Commoditites exchanges since he came to the Ministry and the things will be clear to everybody.

Sadly, we can't do anything unless the Government itself does something. The COngress will pay dearly for this lack of action against Pawar on this matter. Its credibility as a party, being sought to be revided by Rahul Gandhi, is nothing but farce. It is the same old party of lobbyists, corrupt administration and no care for the Country. God save us from this *******

This crafty politician has ducked all bouncers till date......
by Globalcrusador on Jun 06, 2010 04:14 PM

This crafty politician has been able to duck all bouncers till date right from the date when several questions were raised about the sudden disappearance of Rs. 300 crs. from the overall aid that poured in for Latur earth- quake victims in the seventies or eighties. Just notice how the daughter first vehemently denied any connection and then slowly yielded ground on sustained questioning by media on TV. A CBI enquiry will bring out the full truth.

IPL Scam
by Suresh Kulkarni on Jun 06, 2010 03:53 PM  | Hide replies

BCCI started becoming corrupt as soon as Pawar took over from Dalmiya, I remember telling my friends, now that Politician has got the position in BCCI, The whole Board, Cricket, Players and system will be misused and abused, in the wake of making money for self these politicians will change any rules, do the fraud and scandals. If Shashi Tharoor was at fault and was sacked, i believe Pawar & Sule should also be sacked from the posts they are holding now at centre. Unfortunately congress can't take this stiff action against these two because the there govt's survival is totally depending upon NCP Support. All are frauds and supporters of Frauds including Chirayu Amin, Srinivasan also. First sack them. Give the administration of BCCI to the people who have played cricket like Shastri, Gavaskar, Sidhu & Kapil etc., Who really can think of improving the cricket instead of minting & swallowing the money. If Chirayu was also connected with bid why the hell he accepted interim post from BCCI. As well Modi could have only handled it. BCCI = Board of Chindi Chor Idiots.

Proverbial eel finally gets caught in his own web.....
by Globalcrusador on Jun 06, 2010 09:55 AM

Sharad Pawar typified the proverbial slippery eel that could slip out of any politically inconvenient situations with aplomb. Wonder what happened to his regular expertise. Or may be the media has become much smarter in unearthing inconvenient truths about any politician, despite all their initial denials.
As I said the whole of BCCI is a can of worms and should be heated up from below to force the worms out for ever. None of the present office bearers looks convincing enough.
