what tharoor took is mere pittance and not at the cost of the country , the country didnt loose anything in that deal unlike what RAJA , KODA and all did , be practical no one can be 100% clean in politics , small mistakes should be excused , as long as country's interest is not sacrificed for personal gain it should be ok. Bull shit. Shashi should not be excused. He is a public servant so he should be clean. If we start talking about small amounts there will be no limts to it in the end. Zero tolerance on corruption for public officials and politicians. Infact Modi is the one who can be excused. He acted strictly like a business man. Whether we like it or not IPC is all about making money and he made sure that happened.

If not properly controlled, IPL can easily go stanford way - rot with fraud and then collapse. We cannot condone a murder just because there are mass murderers out there still unpunished. I understand politics is not clean, but there is no need for politics in IPL. It should operate as a business.
you guessed it. he should be appointed commissioner of all these games. with the clear understanding that 1) he can kick in the ass of any offcial/person who happen to cross his way-literally or otherwise 2) keep a hefty commision from each deal 3) late night party after each game frequented by young women 4)nobody asks him any question etc . see what happens next.
