Nadal and our media
by raman govindan on Jun 06, 2010 11:01 AM

" nadal seeks title not revenge " about his game against Soderling to the french open title. our media people can learn humility and attend classes on public relation exercise and generation of goodwill. they do more damage to the nation than the players and politicians.

Nation Pays the Price and few individuals Makes money with a lot
by Prithviraj Hegde on Jun 03, 2010 07:39 AM  | Hide replies

As a country we are used to be ruled by others weather it is Mughals, British or Rajputana Kings......

The legacy continues...

From a Politician to a Board Officials etc

120 Crore pay some money every year and few indivuals gather them and think " they are the kings "

My advice to them is" Have some time to eat what you have looted " or you will always be on the run and money will remain as a treasure and some body like you will just forward to your Death to loot the Treasure "

APPEAL TO BOYCOTT BCCI
by om shanti on Jun 03, 2010 06:15 AM  | Hide replies

I request you all to consider withdrawing support to Cricket in India. My request is for the following reasons:
1)BCCI has harmed the nation by deciding not to send cricket team to Asian Games. An Asian games or a Olympic medal is a matter of national pride. But BCCI has considered to hang national pride for money.
2)If cricket was to be promoted thru Asian games and Olympic,BCCI being one of the important cricket board should have sent the team for the sake of promoting the sports.

3)Not a single cricketer is objecting to it
4)BCCI these days have become Shameless, arrogant and disrespectful to national interests. It has recently snubbed Indian anti doping authority NADA and appointed a swiss company for conducting dope test. This is a disrespect to other sports persons of the country and Indian drug prohibiting authorities.
BCCI has grown with the wealth generated from cricket lovers' money and as a return it has insulted the national pride and hurted the sentiments of cricket lovers. Therefore,we should stop supporting BCCI and let us boycott cricket matches for insulting our patriotic feeling and let us divert our time to other sports.
I hope you will appreciate my humble nationalistic feelings and concerns.Let us also arrange countrywide agitation to force irresponsible BCCI to send our team to Asian Games.
Pakistan is showing more maturity and national pride by declaring to send their team. But we are staring with helplessness due to indifferent BCCI..

why should boycott be restricted to bcci only? If for that reason you want to boycoot bcci why not also all the players who support it or do not object to it?

Why call it India Team...its BCCI team.
Since BCCI dont participate in National Games, they are just club cricket , reporting to ICC.

performance against srilanka A and zim should be ignored...
by sudhakar on Jun 02, 2010 11:56 PM  | Hide replies

rohit hasnt performed against any strong team in odi till today......virat kohli played many matches against srilanka...so this performance is fluke..if these players face teams like australia, africa, england in world cup again they will fail...so this performance should not be counted for selection..

How can you forget that Rohit helped india win odi tournament in Australia by scoring two superb half century against australia in australia. In the recent T20 world cup also he batted superbly against aussies on barbados wicket. He has immense talent,ie most talented indian youngster but problem is with his temperment if he can fix that could b'come one of india's future great batsmen.Kohli has shown in the games he played that he too deserved to play for india. But the real non performers are our Trio from Tamil nadu.Murali Vijay,Waste Dinesh Karthick and Joker Srikanth as chief selector. Please Cick these idiots out of indian team.how can we still persist with someone like dinesh karthick who after given 100 of chances by srikanth still hasn't prove his worth.we have talented players like uthappa,Manish Pandey,Raydu,M Tiwary waiting.

manjesh dear there are so many talented crick. rohit is one of them. he scored only one 50 in the second final ag. austtralia in 2 years he has done nothing in 1 dayers. check the record. stil he gets selected, he is better than vijay for sure. we need sachin, yuvraj and sehwag to win the world cup, dont need average players, only match winners. as av. guys hardly change a lost game into a win.
