- If he scores 100, you say its for records (as if it doesn't add to team total and doesn't save the team from another embrasement) - If he gets out w/o getting 100, you call him irresponsible, not playing when team needs most (like he got criized for getting out at 85 in 1st test) - If he doesn't get past 50, you call him a failure & ask for immediate retirement - If the match is drawn, you say he doesn't score to win!!! (as if loosing a match is better than a draw!!) - when Sehwag gets out at 99, you call it courageous/bold shot (when infect its irresponsible) but when SRT gets out even at 150 , we call him not leading from front. - people call him selfish & changed style to prolong the career, as he is not as classy as he was in his prime!! (so waht, he is still better than all other Indian batsmen & has better strike rate than other batsman & deserves a place in the team based on current performance only & not based on reputation) - If he scores, it saves the team first & then record is added as statistics!! (is there a way by which a player can contribute to the team heavily without achieving a record!!!)

Super Cricketer Ace Cricketer Champion Cricketer Heroic Cricketer / Highest Run Getter Invincible Cricketer / International Cricketing Icon Natures Gift to Cricket !!!
I think Sachin has nothing to prove for guys like who do not know the worth of committment and hardwork and longevity. Play cricket for 3 hours at least one day and you will know what it takes to play cricket at the highest level for more than 20 years. Sachin is simply great because throughout his career he has to endure the barks of people. No other player before him had ever played under such mental pressure and public scrutiny. When today's players are carried away by a day or twos success, it is just hard to imagine that this little man still has his feet grounded firm despite all the fame, name and the money which has come all the way. While the younger lot are struggling with fitness, this man in his entire test career has never used a runner even for single run. All those 14,000 runs he has run himself while in one-dayers just the 3 times he has been assisted by a runner. Do you know what it takes to be so tough, fit and agile? It is pure passion, committment, love for the game and love for representing the country. There might be greater batsman in the future than Sachin. But you have never found and will never come across a player who has carried himself with such dignity both on and off the field for such a long period. Point at least one controversy in which Sachin's name has ever been heard of? He is just the genius, the best ever and the best forever!

Very True. This must be the end of debalce on Sachin's fitness.and his clas. What a splendid innings! Carry on Sachin, we all Indians are with u. Don't pay attention to these barking dogs. let them bark. God bless u.
Ppl just think. How much credit will u attribute for a ODI macth against Bangaladesh, where Sachin makes 100 in first innings and India make 250-270 and India win comfortably? I would guess not much credit to it. Flash-back to 2007 world cup match, Ind vs Ban , India lost that resulted in ousting out of the world cup. India made around 190 and Ban chased it in about 49 overs. If Sachin made a century in that match, it would like the case I mentioned above. Bottomline, every century he made counts irrespective of oppenent, ground and first/second innings. You will know the value of the innings only if it never exists. But players,selectors/commentators know that value.Thats why they redgard him as the greatest player. Clueless ppl can keep barking that he cant win matches.

Since he is of such high value, we expect him to win all matches for India. Why couldnt he win the 2003 WC final for us? Or for that matter any of the earlier W Cups? Now you will say that cricket is a team game, you do not expect one person to play all the time. YES, We expect him to play all the time. If he is a great player, he is supposed to consistently win matches for India. Sadly that has not been the case EVER !! So either you acknowledge that he is just an above average player who cannot win all matches for Indian or keep your mouth shut. We are not barking, you are !!!!!

Injun abhi, ur an idi-ot because u talk senseless. according to ur metric there is no great player because none won all matches for his team.So everyone ever played is an average player? thats what makes u a moron..lol We call him greatest because he did something no one who played cricket won so many matches for his team... India wouldnt have reached finals of 2003 without his heroics..so we are grateful to him...u bird brains can only see..he didnt win the final.. It is sounding so idiotic even while i am typing ur argument

Wow Injun... Where are you from ? You should be either super genius or an alien to make this comment... In case you are super genius we expect you to make such comment everytime [ other wise you are just above normal UC]. If you are alien then ofcourse Sachin plays only for humans and aliens cant anyway appriciate things

Idiot Abhi!!!. Can you name one player who has won WC single handely for their country? None. Why Australia managed to win the world cup consistently because of collective efforts. They had Gilly, Mcgrath, warne, ponting, Waugh etc all firing and contributing together. They never won a WC or for that matter ODIs by virtue of single Player. So you are comparing and wishing Sachin to win it for India Single handly shows your stupidity and lack of knowledge about the game. Can you tell us one thing you are best at in your own life? I guess that would be critising because what it takes is just fingers to type on keyboard(not even brain)...
