Baba Amte should be given Bharat Ratna before anybody else.Sachin is a great batsman. If Sachin has to be given Bharat Ratna even V Anand & Leander deserve it.
A wish by Ashatai for a Bharat Ratna for Sachin reflects her greatness not only as an artist but also as a human being.Singing for last 60 years,starting with lot of struggle in early days Ashatai has sung 10,000 songs in all languages.She is truely an Indian Idol.No doubt Sachin shd be awarded Bharat Ratna but Ashaji,the most versatile singer of all time also deserves it much ahead.I humbly request govt to declare highest civilian award for our beloved Ashaji on 8th Septemberie on her Birthday.
SACHIN IS GOD!! Most of us would agree on that. Why does God need any award? It should have been given much earlier. It has been 5 months now since he scored the 200 in ODI. Giving him Bharat Ratna now would only belittle him. Introduce a new award for him which is prestigous then Bharat Ratna.
I repect him a lot more then the people who have received Bharat Ratna. What say ppl?
With due respect to sachin. Apart from entertaining and making tons of money for himself, is there something fruitful for our Nation...What about those Citizens excelling in other fields....What about those brave Soldiers who laid down their lives at Kargil, did atleast one got a Bharat Ratna?

Bharat Ratna for Sachin is long due. Bashing is one thing after every loss or draw but playing for nation for that long in itself is an achievement.
Also bashers don't utter a single word against any other player. If they know cricket, there are 10 more players beside Sachin, not for show piece mind you..

Baharat Ratna is a civilian award and it is for civilians... Soldiers get gallantry awards, Paramveer Chakra is the highest gallantry award in India....

u have to understand that there are always going to be many supporters and some critics. not all can agree with u right. :-)
