I am probably Sachin's greatest fan guys, but he is NOT a bowler. Sachins is prolly the best Batsman ever, but Sir Gary is prolly the best CRICKETER.
Sir Garfield St Auburn Sobers is quite simply the greatest all rounder of all times for all times. There will be none like him nor will there be a sportsman like him who personified all that is great and gracious abt the game. He was not only a super all rounder but also a great human being and a well behaved sportsperson. He was a super batsman, fabolous bowler, excellent fielder and a instinctive captain,
Not many know that he played without helmet nor abdomen box and faced some of the most frightening fast bowlers of all times from Lindwall to Miller, Trueman, Satham, Davidson, Lillee, Snow, Mckenzie, Fazal Mahmood, etc and his own mates like Hall, Griffith...He was courageous and brave who never flinched from the heat of the battle.
Sir Gary, thanks for all the fun and memories. Wish u many many happy returns of the day. Players like Sir Gary and Sir Viv come once in many lifetimes.

Dude..update your list and add Sachin's name there at the top..You must also update your knowledge ab cricket..What is the sense to add Azher's name there? What he increased curruption in cricket.

Why the hell Azhar name is listed here. He have spoiled the Game Cricket and India's name by match fixing. That idiot has no pride in his life history.

Yes. He is one greatest genius. Persons came with greater achievements in specific lines but no one came with similar allround attributes after him. One critic commented that Had he born in Australia, he would have been greatest tennis player and had he born in India, he would have been greatest Hockey payer and that was agility and style and approach. One could see his body language from the way he approaches batting, bowling and also fielding. Only one deficiency probaby is he was not considered to be a successful captain ?

why not buddy? Kallis is there still he got 10,000 and runs but had hit no double hundred. and our Kapil too best all rounder ever india produced.

averages doesn't show true performances.....kallis is just a good batsman and a change in bowler...a third seamer....never in the same league of sobers....sobers is a genius with bat , ball and even in fielding.....kapil is a good allrounder ...not as good as sobers in batting
