jayawardhane is rightly estimated indian bowling attack,but does't have any right to underestimate indian batting.they can falter once but not all the time.
I was wondering how players like Dravid, Sachin and Jayawardane can ever make statements like that. Jaya just said "We need a couple of opportunities to run them down". The masala added by rediff resulted in the title - "We can run through India betting".

who said there should be a Tamil Nadu player in the Indian team? If all truly deserving players come from one state , then they all should be selected andd not go for this petty state politics which has many a times led us down to the dumps. There was a time in the recent past when we had many deserving players from karnataka like Dravid, Kumble, Sunil Joshi, Venkatesh Prasad, Srinath etc and the team had merrit and used to take the complete bowling on their shoulders and do reasonably well with a real wall in batting .
This is a wicket a lay man can score runs.Although Jayawardene can afford to say,what he said,against india.Bowling attack looks miserable.The indian attack is currently worst than a district level team.
Good luck for Dhoni and rest of the team,try and save the match guys.....some pride for u......

yes lot of bowlers are missing we shd have played mishra innstead of Ojha........bhajji may not be in form but he is a match winner,just wait he is 30 many years ahead of him over 600 wickets already in tests and ODI'S, HE WILL BE BACK SOON AT HIS BEST

He must be joking ! Who wants 2 see 640 runs and 3 odd "V Cuts" (said in true lankan accent) Would rather see a side bundled out for 280 340 and then watch the test match,where the ball is seaming swinging turning....this is a sad advertisement for world cricket,tey knew tey dint have malinga so tey just rolled the roller over and over and over...to ensure tat its easy for batting n results in a draw as if tis test is draw tey cnt loose the series....very shrewd thinking but i firmly believe test cricket is boring...there should be new rules and overs should be a 60% tgt achv rule to win or loose ib the second innings ! Else people like dravid(one of my all time fav)still... will sleep on the pitch and not let a single ball pass him on such wickets,he was born for such occasions....!!!
