Need an allrounder: Jacques Kallis or Flintoff i/o Dravid. Otherwise a good choice.

Selecting only four bowlers indicated that you are no batter than Indian team management. I would rather prefer Ponting at #3 and include Kallis #6 as an all-rounder, which will be a more balanced team.

Your replacement is accepted. Its a good choice. I was also thinking for an allrounder. Kallis is definitely best among all.

Point to be taken though
by Ritwik Bhuyan on Jul 25, 2010 08:43 PM

Sachin has 805 points before the f1st Test. Now he has 795 points after the 1st Test is over. Technically he has lost some points. He has climebd the rankings because Gambhir has slipped from the rankings.

Anyways, would love to see Sachin smash a century in the 2nd Test.

I dont believe in Ranking system

Gambhir is still the best batsman if we take second innings performances into consideration.

I agree that ICC ranking systems are not perfected, but you should or must believe your eyes to find out the truth. Did you watch the T20Wcs and first test against SRL or are you looking at numbers only?
