Who says it is not possible to break Muralis record? Any Asian country cricket board is capable to force a change in the rules of bowling to suit their bowlers, like Srilanka did for Murali, so that their bowlers can harvest wickets - may be 1000 or beyond.

Yes... Asian countries backed the chocker...and he went on to scalp 800 wickets!Now a days the thumb rule is "MIGHT IS RIGHT".As these asian block contribute a major amount to ICC,ICC was forced to bend before this pressure.So if any bowler is backed by these asian block,will definitely scalp more than 1000 wickets.
Leave alone Murali, many seem to be throwing at some time or another! No umpire can watch the legitamacy of each delivery. There are many grey areas like for lbw. No umpire dared give Miandad lbw in Pakistan.

Whatever Muralidharan achieved in his cricket career, he will always remembered for his bowling action. Actually it is gud that he retired and ICC should have to ban him long back. Murali got these achievements only because of his bowling action. But others like Warne, Saqlain and Kumble took the wickets with their skills. sometimes we felt murlidharan is not bowling just doing Jawlin throw. Thanks god we dont have to see his action again.

this fool tabbasum khan must be tipped by another fool bishan singh bedi for writing these nonsense and useless stuff....Murli hs put a big mark in Test cricket... and it is mst probably an impossible task for any bowler to touch his numbers....a gr8 soul and A gr8 asian... ICC( read Australia)tried everythng to stop him...but their effor went for a toss...and now almost all players from this continent is praising for his mark....Well done Murli! we as a cricket lovers proud on u and ur achievements.....

Murali might have taken 800 wkts but whenever any one will speak about his acheivements they will also speak about his controversial action. If new bowlers are not allowed with the same bowling action of Murali than there is some problem in his action. If it is not than every bowler should be allowed to bowl in the same action which he was allowed. If u cannot imitate ur favourite player than what is the use of having a hero (akram-amir/pathan)(sachin-shewag).
