He is a selector he can only pick people its upto them to perform. He cannot go and bat or bowl for them. Everytime we lose its our selectors fault, why don't you give other team credit? They played well. Why don't you appreciate another team for winning

At about the same time Bishen Singh Bedi likened Murali's action to a "javelin throw". Michael Holding, a member of ICC's Advisory Panel on Illegal Deliveries said he was "110% in agreement" with Bedi.

With all due respect, I do not think any of the writers are better qualified than holding and bedi

Murali is a right example for Srilankan Tamils
by Mahesh on Jul 22, 2010 09:57 PM  | Hide replies

When Ranatunga spotted Muralidharan he did not play politics because of his Tamil origin nor the Srilankan Govt who was the direct control of Srilankan Cricket Board. This shows that Tamil nadu politicians were all running after Separate ealem just for vote bank politics. Murali is a perfect example of a harmonious person. Ofcourse I am not denying bad things done by the Srilankan Govt in the early 70s to Srilanakan Tamils. But asking for a separate ealem is always out of box thinking. It is the only the Tamil nadu politicians who added more fuel to LTTE rather than bridging the gap. LTTE should have agreed to Indo-Lanka accord done by Rajiv Gandhi. They created more mess in the name of asking a separate ealam. But this guy proved everyone wrong and showed that he is above all the civil war. Real Tamil lovers especially Tamil nadu politicians should felicitate Muralidharan.

Even though he had to face a lot of controversies during is career he still stands out as the real hero for Sri Lanka and it will be real loss for Sri Lanka to fill his gap. Well done Murali and see you in the IPL.

It needs great courage to surmount obstacles and end as the top wicket taker in the world in both tests and ODIs. What a player. He will find a place in all time world XI at any time. Well done Murali.

a rare feat despite questionable bowling action. Malinga with his throw ball action will also become highest wicket taker.
