Not just on the ground...he is a grt guy off the ground also...i dint even feel a pinch that India lost today....we will win the 2nd test....but was very happy for Murali...good that he will still play ODI and T20...All the very best Murali...
Being an Indian and India being at recieveing end from you I always wanted that you should not be successful against India. Other consideration their being good player of Spin.
But I always admired your bowling, your temprament and what ever I may say for your achievement will never be sufficient for you and also for your team including Arjuna Ranatunga who stood by you always.
Still heartiest congratulation to you, your family, your team and your countary
You are a deserving person to get all what the world gives you today. you had defined a target to reach before the match (and retirement), and you met it. You are truly a fighting Champion! Proud to see cricket lovers appreciating you beyond nations!!!
Quite simply, the greatest off-spinner to have ever played the game. The sad part is that with Murali gone now, an era of spin bowling has ended. Murali, Warne and Kumble formed a fearsome trio and it is fitting to note that in a game where fast bowlers were expected to take more wickets and spinners were shunted to a containing role, it's three spinners at the top of the wicket taking tree! KUDOS!
