Muralitharan has lead cricket to a very high level. He is a true cricketer and very humble. I love him as a genuine person. His decision to retire is shocking and extremely unbearable. The beautiful game Test Cricket could lose its shine in his absence. To me, he could play effectively for another couple of years. He should reconsider his retirement. We all cannot tolerate his absence in cricket. It could be a big jolt. Please Murli, don't retire. You are one of the pillars of cricket. Please return for the sake of Cricket, Srilanka and sentiments which are associated with you. May God bless you with every happiness. Qamar, Malaysia

Murali has quit at the right time with self respect completely intact. He left on his own and on his own terms and that in itself is great showing up how much respect he enjoys.
No one can go on for ever, one day every player of every sport has to retire. Time takes it toll and the body tells its time up. Murali has played for 18 years and has done wonderfully well. He has etched for himself a place in the pantheon of cricket greats and his Test record is going to stay intact for a long long time to come. Perhaps forever like Sir Don's 99.96 test average. The great Shane Warne himself acknowledged this and that is the highest tribute Murali can get when he walks off the test field for one last time.

Ravi. It's your arrogance to think you can treat citizens of a same country in two different ways. it is this arrogance that always gives rise to revolutions. don't for one second make comparisons or think you have this figured out.
It takes a little thought and humility on how to build a great country by making efforts to have an inclusive nation where all citizens are treated with equal rights and respects.
Listening to you would already make someone antagonistic against the nation (which I believe can actually become a great country)

Tamils outperform the Sinhalese by a big margin in Londoan, Singapore- the neutral places. Sinhalese has the quantity and Tamils have the quality
