Almost 5 years past Ganguly was thrown out from his captainship. During this long period not a single talented player has come in Indian team. Really it is pity almost all the players now playing in India team got chance in the tenure of ganguly's captainship. Ganguly is the best Indian captain not only in the field but also outside the field. He is not only a captain he is BORN LEADER.

At the max he will replace one of the players with Murali Vijay. Yuvraj is enjoying the phase of his life. He does not play but makes a hell lot of money. It was evident in IPL3 that though there is no body language, just run around in the field because people have come to see star players..Its a pity state of affair this BCCI...

stupid mahesh, he played he played despite being unwell and down w fever. which spinner took wkts ok murli got few but it was poor batting by India.
Yet again, when India needed a big match saving innings from him, he was dismissed, despite progressing to 80 odd. Have we ever seen the likes of Gavaskar,waugh,lara falling in the 80s or 90s? They generally go on to big 100s after a start. And tendulkar today was troubled a lot by malinga and murali kept him quiet. Most of those 80 were against names like herath,weldegara,angeloe etc. Its time Indians call him God as the only innings i can remember of note recently is the england one in 2008. What use are those first innings hundreds that just add to the world records and run tallies? We are talking about team INDIA here, not team INDIvidual.

lara would have been out first ball inthat situation.. which of his big 200's or 300's saved the match for his side( all were dull draws )... may be steve waugh i agree ..but he always had great support from others.. not sunny ... i still remember his last test getting out on 96 against pakis chasing 221 india lost by 16 runs... a lot similar to sachin..

Cricket is not like football, where team coordination helps ultimately goal.
Where as in cricket some one has to perform consistently so team get benefit, thats what sachin is doing, he does his job. like him other players in the team should play individual game, end of the day that helps total score, thats how you win the match
