viru is the best batsman in the world. nobody can match him .he is the most attacking batsman in the cricket history . evenif compared to shahid afridi then also he is far ahead of him,,,in the way that afridi only plays with his luck but sehwag has more array of shorts than afridi ...... the above lines are proved by the fact that at the age of "31" also he is so agile and fit enough to destroy any bowler in the world history ........... and he has proved himself several times. that's why he is my favoirate batsman. i am the biggest fan of sehwag.
Don't just go by looking at the runs. See at what times the runs have been scored. MSD has pulled out India fr. crisis time & again. So do VVS & Dravid. But rarely Sachin has done that. He always fails under pressure. So just the amount of runs,Tons, 50s,averages doesn't give a true picture. Sachin has also played the most. so he had enough opportunities agt. weak bowling attack,weak teams etc. His only 200 agt. the minnows Bangladesh. So Sachin is nothing. MSD is the God of Cricket after Sir Bradman & Murali. Thosae who disagree knows nothing about cricket.

u idiot chakraborthy, u never watched cricket. sachin is god of cricket. matches not won by one man. matches to be won with unity. just take example first test, sachin got out, match lost. in second test, along with sachin raina also performed, it ended with draw. most of indian people like to depend on others they dont work hard. yr one of them. indian X players depend on sachin. its hard to win india world cup. australians x1 players play with unity, so they won regularly.

hey kumar chkraborthy, first learn cricket then comment. only one man, who play for cricket, that is sachin. sachin is god of cricket. cricket is not one man show. if team performance with unity, they they will win matches. in india only sachin performs always others dont, so india loses, if any other performs good with sachin, then india wins. u just take example first test, sachin got out at 84, match lost. in second test also, india became in trouble, sachin and raina saved the match. beggars dont know value of daimonds. sachin is indian diamond. only dependent and selfish people talk against sachin

Unlike South Indians Bengalis normally dont use 'h' after 't'. So Bengalis spell Chakrabarty or Chakraborty but never Chakraborthy. It seems a careless South Indian is in the guise of a Bengali and we know how you guys dislike Sachin out of your narrow regionalistic mindset. No Dravid or VVS can match Sachin in one lifetime ...... learn to live with this truth, and Dhoni's mention was just for your further disguise, so we too know Dhoni is going to be a gr8 soon far far better than Dravid or VVS but neednot compare with Sachin now!

When these players themselves dont discriminate among themselves, why are u guys behind who is a north indian and who's not?? They are doing their job and let them do. Hi Birju- you are a dumbchodu. i think you have been dumped by bengali and south indian girls- so you hate them. Sachin is loved accross the nation- north, south east or west. Only a fcukerass like you won't understand. Up yours. Besides Dhoni is totally overrated.

Yes you are right.He is also very good in social service as, he is with a cricket bat on the field.
The stark difference is in the bowling department. Our batsmen has to either build humongous totals and just bore them to death with our mediocre bowlers or just bat forever for a draw. I hope they have some pitch that will assist bowlers.
There is no strike rate column which is very important to mention as people have started expected results in test matches.
The average of some batsmen like Sachin, Dravid and Sehwag are more are less same, but the Sehwag's Strike rate is staggering 80 which has lead many positive resulting test matches for India including the unforgettable one against England.

i agree arvind. but we cant depend on sehwag. he never thinks his own records, he never thinks team position, he play his game. in 2nd test, india is not in a good postion when he was 99, what is the need there to hit 6 to get 100. he should try that when team in strong position. i understand if he got 6 at 99, its thrilling, but got out at 99 also worst thrilling. i understand he dont want personal records,atleast he should think for team. after sehwag got out, vijay and dravid followed him, and also laxman. if raina wouldnt perform with sachin, what would be the result, india would be lost. u know who doesnt think his own records, its hard to think about team also.
