If anyone, ANYONE thinks that Murli's record can be broken, he is fooling the world. Some Indian journalist (you know them well -'aapko kaisa lag raha hai') must have asked Murli if any of the contemporary bowler can break his record? To come in the limelight in the in his SASURAAL, he must have said Harbhjan. I doubt if he can break Kumble's record. Jai

Murali wont be missed against India...
by B M on Jul 15, 2010 06:28 AM

Murali was never a terror to Indian batsmen so his absence wont make much difference against India. As such, Indians dont get out to good bowlers. Usually, its an average bowler that gets Indian wickets easily - like In the recent match, Indians falling like nine pins to Ajantha Mendis.

There will not be another Murali simply because there will never be another chucking exception allowed by ICC ever in the future. Murali was the last exception (previous one being Shoaib).

There was this upcoming talented spin bowler in Sri Lanka who was bowling the same way as Murali with the same wrist action, but he was banned by ICC and then asked to come up with a new action for bowling, cuz he was not allowed to follow Murali's footsteps.

Thats cuz in Murali's case, ICC allowed him in wiuth the clause that he was handicapped, technically speaking, where his arm bent more by default. This exception allowed him to bend it more than stipulated.

Then came the bending degree rule (15 degrees, what a joke). Then came the doosra ball chucking controversy, which no camera can detect during play. They can also test after the game in a special laboratory, where of course, Murali would bowl normally.

The fact of the matter is - he is always going to be a controversial figure in cricket - it is physically impossible to match him, simply cuz its physically impossible to be like him (handicapped).

And for those who are, remain banned by ICC, and will always be in the future - long before they could ever become stars big enough to challenge ICC on their ban, as it happened in the case of Murali.

So that's that. End of discussion.

The greatest test spinner in the history of mankind - forever and ever - will always be SHANE FKN WARNE!

Hey man even if you bend your arms and throw the ball you can't even take a single wicket..I bet you even if there is no bats man and you allowed to ball on a wicket you can't hit at the stumps.. don't talk technicality without understanding the game..
