After being indicted of misconduct, his plea for independent inquiry is a last shot to cover up his misdeeds. The question is as an office bearer of BCCI, the only mechanism is to face the disciplinary committee appointed by the BCCI. The BCCI have taken note of his concerns about Mr Manohar and Mr Srinivasan who are not in the committe to try him. How can he accuse all persons appointed by the BCCI as biased? This appeal to the High COurt is just trying to get a face saver for himself. The charges against Mr Modi are serious and he should have realised by now the rules under which BCCI function.

Thats for sure BCCI does not work under any rule. If it is then we will not have continuous boring series with sri lanka every year. They do not pay tax and registered as charity - but do not do any charity. I am not fan of Lalit Modi but he did what others are doing in BCCI. He is in troble because he succeeded mush faster than others.
