white-worshipping Indians will never employ West Indies legends
by Sameer Bhagwat on Jul 11, 2010 05:08 PM  | Hide replies

The indian media as well as cricket netas are all slaves still, i.e., white worshippers.

they won't even call Haynes for an interview.

they will fall at the feet of club-level cricketers like Lehmann and beg them to come and coach in India. Only criterion is skin colour.

Sunil Gavaskar has been saying for years that we should hire one of the legendary West Indian fast bowlers as our bowling coach. But no one listens to his voice of sanity.

Slaves don't deserve any respect.

Exactly.
Haynes says he is willing to coach an IPL team. And I posted saying that Haynes won't even be called for an interview because our cricket honchoes (BCCI, IPL team bosses) are all r*cists who will never employ a black person even if he is a legend.

Gary Kirsten is the Indian team coach. He had no coaching credentials whatsoever, and did NOT even apply for the job. Our white-worshipping board themselves got down on their knees and begged him to come. And since coming, what strategic or innovative thinking has he shown? He is just a cheerleader and manager. Not a coach.

Reeve and Geoff Marsh
by shaukhatalikhan shaukhatalikhan on Jul 06, 2010 08:44 PM

Okay. Your justification may help in the case of Geoff Marsh but what about Dermot Reeve, who played only three Tests and featured in only 29 ODIs?! How is that justified? You couldn't find a better Indian coach at least for the Assistant coach position?

This is all hogwash, Indian and IPL team managements!!! This has got to stop.

illogical and arrogant decision
by ROBY STEPHEN on Jul 06, 2010 03:22 PM

Mr. Roy speaks in toines of arrogance . the logic behind the award of the teams is to develop and encourage the talent of that area and accordingly when he won the bid for the Pune Franchisee, he has to give preference to players from Pune and around rather than UP. It could have been done with a team from Lucknow or kanpur or Allahabad. This fellow speaks arrogantly because of the clout of money and Mr. Roy, the more arrogance you show, the bigger will be your fall. Mind it.

Because Indians do not have maturity to handle other Indians with respect.

Proof - If Srikant is coach - North objects , and if Vengsarkar is coach , south objects, if Bedi is coach , west objects etc

Better to be ruled by some neutral foreigner till the third world mentality goes away
