Few people can't stand the rise of a "common man" like Dhoni. In all probability, this is a case of an arranged marriage and even though Dhoni is (was) the most eligible bachelor in India, he decided to respect his parent's choice and went for this marriage. This is not an easy decision because you make this kind of decision only once in your life time. Hats off to Dhoni. He showed how should the young generation of India behave. Irrespective of fame and money, you should respect your parent and culture. Not like you, who is a cheap a_$_$_h_o_l_e, working in probably a call center, earning peanuts and yet behaving as if he is the master of the world. Shame on you !!

I leave that for the Porkis to answer. I as a North Indian resent pollution of our race by other people...
Wish you in advance, A Happy Married life. Now it's a turn of Mr. Rahul Gandhi who has always been compared with Dhoni's every achievement. As it is he is on discussions for marriage during his Birthday a few weeks back. Come on Rahul- Back-up Narendra Riyadh Saudi Arabia

I am very happy to see that Dhoni set such a good example in front of everybody that he was not blinded by the money and fame and got married to a girl, who was selected by his parents. This shows how much respect he has for his parents and for his roots. Rahul Gandhi can set another example by not marrying anyone and dedicating his entire life in service of the nation. This can silence all critics (including myself, who don't like Congress at all) that he indeed wants to do something for the country.

@Another Critic, you are so true.. The forum stinks with the people who keep on blabbering ill things about Dhoni. They don't see how much Dhoni has achieved in such a young age and still he was not blinded by the money and fame. He decided to tie knot with a girl who was selected by his parents, which shows how much he respects his parents despite him being the icon of India. Now a days, Indian youth has got access to some money because of call centers & IT and they think that they have achieved the unbelievable. They are no longer attached to their roots and show no respect to their parents

@JGN, @rkdmumbai, @raza - why don't you guys go back to your gutter. Its already stinking a lot here from your jealousy and your comments.
Padmashree was awarded to M.S.Dhoni but Dhoni did not attend that function of President of India because he had to act in advertisement to gain money. This Dhoni will do anything for getting money. Tomorrow he will sell this Rawat also.
