Howard as the PM of Australia criticized Zimbabway President and not Zimvbabway cricket! It was govt. to govt. and a political act not any thing to do with cricket. Then why a political matter is being dragged into cricket now ? It is not good for cricket. The countries opposing Howard's nomination must give cricketing or apolitical reasons for denying him the nomination.

R u crazy? Is sharad Pawar saint to not let another politician in?Cricket is ruled by politicians in India & cricket draw its bread & butter from Asian subcontinent.Disallowing the candidature of an ex PM wil create ripples in cricketing circles.
Sharad Pawar who was involved in the multi-million dollar IPL scam is the ICC president. Obviously he will be looking for some equally corrupt person to fill the vice-president spot. Howard is way too honest a person for an ICC job.

Certificate of honesty to Howard? Great. Looks like your knowledge is very poor about great Australian mines and the deals by the politicians out there.
