Shahid Afridi Banned

What else cn you expect out of Pakis. They are drug abusers(Akhtar and Asif), ball tampers and there is no team spirit. In fact it would have been most appropriate if Afridi was banned for atleast 1 year.

BIASED ICC
by drax on Feb 01, 2010 07:46 AM  | Hide replies

ICC is biased against Pakistan. Poor Afridi was merelyfeeling hungry and ate a little bit of cricket ball and ICC comes with its imaginative ball tampering story(obviously influenced by BCCI). Poor hungry Pak cricketers should be allowed to eat the ball whenever they feel hungry.

Drax:

Good point. Though the Pakistan team had eaten the humble pie, they might still have been feeling hungry... :)
And of course the need for topping off the whole thing with a dessert should also not be ruled out... :)

Just Desserts, I say.. :)

PCB has come out with following explanation.During his junior terrorist days in FATA region he had this habit of biting bullets that's why.And he has the audacity to sermonise positivity to others. He should be handed a life ban.

by mohammed ulhaq on Feb 01, 2010 07:30 AM  | Hide replies

it looks like Pepsi is the official sponsors for Paki team, lets stop consuming pepsi and make huge loss to the company so that the sponsorship gets cancelled.

SRK is hurt as he is pro Paki and loyal to D company
This is reason Pak can humiliate india any time

blame India
by Legionnaire on Feb 01, 2010 06:51 AM  | Hide replies

May be PCB and Pakistani public will come with a theory that India applied pressure on Ranjan Mudgalle for handing a 2 match ban on Afridi to humiliate Pakistan. According to them for a school boy error like ball temparing Afridi should have been left with a mere warning.

And considering the big hoo haa about the ICC "racism" our own fans have been dishing out on these very forums, those allegations by PCB might actually make a lot of logical sense... ;-)

Ball Tampering is an art which only some great legends know

Ball Tampering is an art which only some great legends know.

1) Changing the shape of the ball requires muscles to squeeze the ball while fielding and catching..must not use nails or teeth.

2) While the bowler is running he can press it hard, but should not use nails.

3) Fielder falling on the ball must press on the ball while fielding against the ground.

Stupid Shaid Afridi, Doesn't have brain to tamper the ball. A common man like me knows that in these circumstance shape of the ball changes and it looks unknown to umpires.

When I heart the news Afridi was banned for 2 T20, I was like oh this is another baiest decision against the South Asian teams, but when I actually got to see the video I couldn't belive my eyes. What was he thinking? is he out of his mind? is he fit for international cricket? I think just 2 T20 ban is very very small punishment, something so visibile and clear like this and specially from a captain should be given more seviere punishment. It is one of the saddest days in the game of cricket. This is not the first incident this man is involved so there shouldn't be any tolerence.
