In spite of Afridi's chewing the ball to get the reverse swing....ball tamperers these pakis that they are, they had a white wash (err sorry a green wash...ha ha ha ) from the Aussies.
Pakistan requires a charismatic personality like Imran Khan as a leader. It might be a good idea to get him to be in the PCB and coach a couple of good performers as captain-material. Without a strong captain, the team full of talent will simply collapse.
Pakistan has a good team but one thing they are lacking is confidence....which is supposed to be provided by their board....Pakistani Board is always ready to sack captains when the team doesn't perform well in a series or on a look out for scape goats....stop looking out for one captain after another ...instead infuse confidence in the current captain that yes we trust you....
Afridi should open to give pakistan team a boost, either he will win single handedly or he will perish, so the other batsmen atleast take up the responsiblity at the early stage of the match. Pakistan is wasting a player like Afridi. Even a sachin cannot finish a match at a stage where Afridi comes to bat, after all Afridi is nowhere near sachin

agree with u my dear...either open or one down...at no. 7 these kind of batsman are of no use when top order is struggling so badly

If Afridi opens up for Pakis he will be out for a duck on the first ball or in the first over itself. He's nothing but Doom Doom Afridi.
This is really bad. He got himself converted only for the sake of captainship. Now if he is sacked, he may again rename himslef as Yousuf Youhana.
And Shahid Afridi is the new captain who doesnot have a permanent place in test side. Now Paki will go for captainship by rotation. Shahid Afridi - Captain for T20 & ODI's against India & Srilanka Imran Nazir - ODI Captain against Bangladesh & Zimbabwe & other minnows. ejaz butt needs to deal with the actual problem - that of the pakistani p0rki team being a bunch of sore losers, having won nothing but brickbats from their own supporters It is one thing to point fingers at Modi and asking him to apologize. It is totally another to blame the Indian nation for being sensitive after 26/11.
