Before passing your judgement why dont you check the list of previous Bharat Ratnas and then apply the same yardstick, laid down by you, and tell us all.. did all of them deserve such an honour?

your definition is absurd...Nelson Mandela has been given Bharat Ratna...Sachin is India's biggest icon...and his contribution is enormous...do you think Bharat Ratna is reserved for Gandhi family(3 of them have got it). then Lata Mangeshkar, Bhupen Hazarika, Bismalla Khan....do you think Sachin is any less deserving that this..
