I feel the RCB are a well balanced unit this season. They have a good blend of batsmen, allrounders and bowlers with an experienced statesman in Kumble. They won't require this guy. Besides, the IPL never forbids ANY foreigner from playing for their country. So PLEASEEEE stop all this f**king cliche of 'country comes first' bullsh*t.
Since Ryder is injured, it would make sense to pick up one of the talented pakistani players. Its an ideal opportunity as normally it is so difficult to get good players due to competition from all the other franchises. Now, most have their quota filled and there are atleast 6-8 players from pakistan who are talented and it would be a great pick.
NB: I am really not interested in having discussions and stupid conversations with surfers who generally try to divide the world, continent, neighbours, country (north and south), states, region (god! its endless) and post rubbish comments just to get more eyeballs and guilty pleasure.
Would love to have a healthy discussion with others?

Its actually a good opportunity for them to get a good pakistani batsmen.
The only problem i can think of is a possible external/political influence which has been indirectly telling the franchisees to avoid pakistani players due to some useless reasons.
It could also be that the franchisees don't wanna take a risk in the circumstances...
his presence wouldn't have really made any difference to RCB as there is a pool of talented batsmen in their team including the ranaji runner up players.
