i forgot to add : his stance which resembles a camel with a sore behind trying to relieve itself evoked uncontrollable laughter from the crowd. not that this has anything to do with his cricket, but i think it is funny.
abhishek nayar isnt all that good a player. I saw the ranji trophy finals this year and even though he made a very useful contribution, his batting wasnt great. Compared to manish pandey who played with such ease, nayar's innings was laborious.
his antics on and off the field were also hilarious. while batting, his constant talking to himself and opening his eyes wide was funny and was more dramatic than the situation warranted. off the field, his celebration holding his crotch in front of the crowd after mumbai won the match was disgusting and uncalled for.
i would think twice before even considering him for selection.
