Flop India
by Raman Shiva on Jan 26, 2010 08:35 AM  | Hide replies

WCUP 2007 he flops and we dont even make to second round, but guess who is blamed,Greg Chappel, for what?asking sachin to guide the team in chases by batting number 4...wow

Stop blaming the team for lack of wcup wins,if he is all that great,he shouldve won it for us after the bowlers set up some matches and others did their part like the above mentioned matches it is he who didnt perform.

We had a decent bowling attack in WCUP 1996,99 and 2003 and had batsmen like Azhar(1996),Sidhu Jadeja then Ganguly,Dravid,Sehwag etc..so it wasnt a weak team ever,if he was great like Imran or Kapil or even Inzi or Ponting(who have a great record in ODIS,Inzi has 10000 plus runs coming down the order and Ponting lots of runs and who can forget his 140 not out in WCUP 2003)he wouldve won us atleast one wcup in 5 attempts.dont tell us that he had no chance to do it in all 5 wcups,he had plenty of chances he blew it...

He wants to blow one more WCUP and at this rate he will...thanks to weak teams.

The guy cant even win us a series agaisnt a second rated AUS team

Thank You Pakistan
by Legionnaire on Jan 26, 2010 07:24 AM  | Hide replies

Pakistan is the source of pirated Indian movies. It will do Indian filmakers a world of good if Pakistani people stop watching Indian films for helping curbing piracy.

Cricket is the only tool which can hurt Pakistan and make them understand about common India's feeling of disgust for Pakistan's sponser of terrorism. Indian government should take note of the influence of cricket diplomacy can deliver when it comes to Pakistan. Indian government should actively use cricket to isolate Pakistan which will be far more effective than stopping Samjhauta Express and all such diplomatic measures. Cricket is what hurts Pakistan the most!!

If Pak is run by Taliban hooligans , India is run by shiv sena . They both the same, only the Taliban can actually fight(see americans calling for negotiations). shiv sena can only scare indians.

the truth will set u free
by tony on Jan 26, 2010 06:23 AM  | Hide replies

apart from politics, 26/11 and whatever crap india deems the reasons Pak players should not play in IPL- the inevitable truth is the PAK players-especially in the T20 - are the best in the world. No other country even comes close. they made the finals both time - are current champions and their win ratio puts others to shame. If Pak players continue to play in the IPL within 3 years PaK players will dominate the entire IPL like they did the ICL. they will be the best performers- get most of the money and off course all of the praise. Now that my friends is something poor India cant swallow. In their own tournament Indians will become sideshow bobs. Afridi, Razzak, Imran nazir, Umar akmal, Amer , Rana Naved, Tanvir , Kamran- all match winners There is not even ONe indian player currently- who is better than any of them. only yuvraj may be akin to them but definately not better. So T20 format being the only format to reach boundries like USA-China and places cricket never went before and being the future of cricket- the whole world will see and know that Pakistan is the Best. India may be the biggest but Pak the BEST-- that is the reason Pak is being snubbed. The funny thing is the world already knows Pak players are the best and anyone with a cricket sense has already deemed IPL3 a lackluster event. Not only that but its shows indias ineptitude to act as responsible organizers. Looong way for india to go till the world recognizes it as anything world class. Now that the trut

Mr. Tony, u are such an Idiot, I nvr come across. We know what Pak players are capable, u can see in Aus series, and they are yet to win a single match so far. But, in T20 they ve good players, but by saying no other team will come close to them, it shows how arrogant/foolish u're. In same T20 world cup, India beat them twice in SA, and once more in Eng in practice game. So, don't bark here.

And, it may be intentionally or some other something else we don't knw dat why IPL teams didn't chose a single Pak player. But, if u remember last year IPL, how Pak govt. made all fuss by not allowing their players to India, and for that team like Rajsthan Royals/Kolkata Knight Riders suffered huge losses as they had few key players from Pak. So, who is going to bear those losses, U idiot? If this time they will select again, and my March something will happen, and again Pak govt. won't allow them to travel to India. Once, u put money for someone else, and u don't knw abt his future, then lt me know how does it taste to u. And, further more, first edition of IPL, we see except Tanvir, and Umar Gul NONE of the other Pak players were successful. By claiming they are best, u find urself as a big Maroon. Get well soon.

I think we can be more sane ...
by Madan Mohan on Jan 26, 2010 06:20 AM  | Hide replies

Opting out pakistani players from the auction deliberatley sounds a childish than anything else. I would expect us to be a little more mature when doing something that has such a huge impact.

There are other ways to snub them, to protest and make everyone understand the stupidity commited across borders.

I hope we do not do the transferance of issues and rather handle them in a more matured way and justify the kind of image that we project for us.

Porkistan
by IndiaStrong on Jan 26, 2010 06:02 AM

Guys, Do not ignore Porkistan though it is a much smaller country and does not compare with India in any front. After all it is our enemy. Get your blood boiled over anti-Indian and India hating porkistan and porkistanis. Just do not ignore their words and actions thinking that it is a shiit country and it is self destructive. Fight with it on all the fronts whenever there is an opportunity. India is not only bigger, it is better than porkistan no matter what they think. Their minds are poisoned with anti-India hatred by their successive military junta governments supressing actual facts and truth.
