Why Drpped Mishra
by sundar sun on Jan 24, 2010 12:51 PM

What happen in Indian Team? Mishra is perfom well both bat and bowl for first test matc. He score half century and partnership sachin. So that is reason only india have decent score in first innings. As a bowler be bowled very well and taking wicket.

Shivsena threat to Aussies
by chandra kumar on Jan 24, 2010 12:31 PM  | Hide replies

If shivsena thinks that aussies shouldn't be allowed to play in Mumbai, then going with same logic Sachin Tendulkar should not be allowed to play in Kanpur. Afterall UPites are being unfairly targetted and attacked by MNS ans Shivsena.
You can't have double standards, one for aussiesw and others for marathi manoos.

for all ishant haters -- has the most pace among indian bowlers
by vijay on Jan 24, 2010 12:17 PM  | Hide replies

ya thats been proved

mushfiqur rahim, bangladesh's best batsman in this series (only centurion ) was undone by a ishant beauty ( too pacy, accurate length ball to which batsman failed to decide whethr to go forward or backward )...

that speaks of ishant's talent and thats why i would persist with him ... he can become a great bowler like mcgrath ( once was compared with mcgrath )

U call bowling at 133kms `too pacy'. That sort of friendly pace would not worry the aussies and the south africans!

Vijay looks directly come from mental asylum.
Ishant should be kicked one yr before based on his repeated failure but continued only becuase he is northy & close to politician dhobi.
Any one will perform against team like bangladesh when he knows his place is guaranted irrespective of his performance. Don't insult cricket by comaring him with mcgrath.

Groundman

A Head of
-PCB{pak Cricket Board} took his preg. wife
-Saira to the hospi.
The doc Lalit Modi,
looked her over and told them it would be a rather difficult deli.
He offered to let the couple try an experimental procedure.

The woman would be connected to a machine that would transfer part of the pain to the father of the baby,
thus reducing her own.
The man quickly agreed.

The doctor warned him, though, that there was a slight bug in the machine that caused it to
amplify the pain sent to the father by ten times,
and if the pain became too much for to bear would he please let the doctor know.

The doctor turned on the machine and watched the man.
The man said he felt absolutely fine and he could take more.
The doctor turned the dial up to 40, 60, 80, and finally 100% of the pain, times ten.
The woman delivered the baby painlessly and the doctor stared at the man,
astonished at how he could not
flinch with that much pain brought upon him.

The couple took the new baby home. There, on the front step, the groundlman
-AKB lay dead.

Since u agree that mishra is good against at least poor teams, then all the more reason why he should have been played against bangladesh in this test!

there's no garranty of mishra becoz if he bowls well in 1 game then he bowl terribly in the next 1......for eg. refer to his per4mance in the tri-series.......he bowled well again sri lanka but in the next game against bangladesh he was so expensive

nothing selfish political about it arvin g. it is not that dhoni does not like mishra. it is you who does not like dhoni. under dhoni captaincy mishra has played more tests than ojha under dhoni. and helped winning 3 tests 2 against aus (12 wickets) and 1 against eng (4 wickets)

Dhoni a matured captain
by sanjay upadhyay on Jan 24, 2010 09:45 AM  | Hide replies

Dhoni was correct when he mentioned that Bangladesh cannot be taken lightly . That is the reason why India took 3 early wickets as they are bowling with planned strategy .
Sehwag should learn someting as to how to handle situations. Just by being good batsman and scoring runs like machine will not not make him great sportsman . He should learn to speak well as well .
