I sincerely think that there is a split between these two. For example, whenever Dhoni captains, he is not giving bowling to Shewag but prefers Yuvraj. Example, the current 2nd test. But when Shewag captains, he is not giving bowling to Yuvraj. Example, 1st test. Any comments. I observed this before in other test matches and also one day internationals.
I agree to a test series involving India BUT not against those Sri Lankans whom we have played ALOT over the past 6 months. This is absolutely ridiculous by the BCCI who are money mongers in the purest sense. It's very CLEAR that the BCCI mad dogs don't put spectator satisfaction as TOP PRIORITY while scheduling a series.
at least 3 test match will help india to retain top slot in test as it is really short of test series..which has been a critical issue for BCCI for past 1 month..
I actually really admire the Sri Lankan team and they are always great folks on and off the field. They are also very commited and competitive cricketers. Would love more contest between them and India. It would be great!
SL is fast emerging as India's favorite cricket mate. the fact that they are on practically same time zone makes TV revenue also very lucrative. And the players also never tire of each other since there is no undercurrent of hostility between Ind/SL unlike the case of Ind/Pak and Ind/Aus.
Well if Murali can get more wickets and Sachin can add to his ton tally and India gets to sit on the No One throne a little longer, why should we complain ?
enough of these comical farce.. allow some rest to players and spare the fans from the torture of routine matches/ post match comments and reviews.. with the world cup hardly an year away, lets focus on building a team by taking on tougher opposition and within our group.
