Telangana Never Ending Story
by asokan a on Jan 22, 2010 06:25 PM  | Hide replies

The interests of the people of both Telangana and Andhra are inter-twined. Only the issueless or ambitious politicians take up the matter for their benefits. Unfortunately the students and the people suffer. All efforts of Chandrababu Naidu to make the state IT friendly has gone waste. The loss of IPL match is nothing to worry. One way it is good. There are examinations for the students.

You are right in a way because we speak the same language, but what is the use of remaining united if most of the people of Telangana want their state back even after fifty years of unity?
Chandrababu Naidu is one of those ambitious politicians who can do anything for his own benefit. Everyone is suffering now because one selfish politician started the drama of resignations immediately after the central government declared its intention to start the process for new state. Why did they remain silent when the President of India read out the common minimum programme of this UPA government? This story has to end now.

We are not able to achieve much by staying united. How many cabinet ministers do we have in comparison to other large states? Did we ever manage to snatch the railway ministry, even after winning more than 30 seats in parliament? Can anybody on this forum answer as to why our MPs flock to the railway minister after the each budget? Can't we see how the Ambani bothers are growing after the split?

See the congress strategy is simplee.. they gave ministers and bulk allotments to the non-congress state govts in 1st budget.. it does not mean that we will not get any railway projects..
of course its good if we have more cabinet ministers..but see its a kind of sacrifice to congress party .. YSR wanted congress to be more powerful both in Centre and State..

Its better that andhra pradesh stay united with their language as their linking bridge... telengana is definitely not going to happen.
no matter how much protests or suicide the seperation of state wont happen, else it will only open a pandora's box.

What a bunch of illiterate useless morons. They are single handedly destroying the state.
What is Congress doing at the Centre ?
Impose President's Rule in AP right away and dont allow every tom dick and harry to bring the state to a stand still.
Is the state a playground for every loser to bend according to his will ?

Latest news is that remaining few 'political unemployees' of Telangana are forming a JAC to 'oversee' (read as disrupt) the IPL matches which are slated to be held in Hyderabad.

Flash news is that the 'political unemployees' of coastal and other reagions are forming a JAC to save the unified state(read as disrupt the Telangana movement). Why don't they shift some of the matches to Vishakhapatnam?

Mumbai- Local train strike

Brief scare for Mumbai at rush hour over trains
NDTV Correspondent, Friday January 22, 2010, Mumbai
Mumbai gritted its teeth early Friday evening as it prepared for a nightmare rush hour.

Local trains stopped for half an hour at the Shivaji Terminus (CST) after motormen refused to drive trains on the Central Line. They've been demanding better pay and shorter shifts.

Trains were delayed for 20 minutes till the Motormen's Union found replacements for the drivers on strike.

Perhaps he is a frustated youth or to a large extent cunning fox of andhra who is making a deliberate statement to gain sympathy.

I am telanganite and I don't want anybody to be thrown out from anywhere. It's their call whether they want to be in hyd after telangana formation or not.
