Why are they complaining so bitterly? Didn't the PCB prevent its players from taking part in the (last year's) IPL-2? Why would any sane Team owner take the risk of paying hundreds of thousands of dollars for one of their players when the possibility exists that their govt will debar them from playing in India??
IPL is a totally financed by India`s citizens being played in India. No foreigner has any right to comment about Purchase / selection of cricketers by the Franchise.Pakistan is not financing IPL.Instead of commenting about Ommission of Pakistan`s cricketers in IPL, they should take up the matter with Government of Pakistan to take action against Terrorist. IPL is totally our internal matter & no foreign country is involved in Financing IPL except selection of some cricketers from foreign country. If, Pakistan is proud of their players then they should organise Pakistan Premier League matches (PPL ) in Pakistan & challenge to IPL. Time will show as to who comes to play for PPL

Well the PPL will only be played among the terror circles. IF the league is formed then with all respect to cricketers from Bermuda, Afghanistan etc.. even they won't come to play in Pakistan.
Mr Abbas, we do not want to open a drug route for Pakis through India. It is a well known fact that all the Paki cricketers were couriers for the drug cartel. Please speak to yesteryear cricket QASIM OMAR who was shown the door for bringing this fact to light.
If you wish to continue to live and work in India, then there are a few conditions. First of all, we want you to swear allegiance to the Indian tricolour and the constitution. Second, no more ties with Pakistan whatsoever. I say this specifically to all those Paki singers, actors, Wasim Akram, Ramiz Raja etc. We know you bite the bone through India's money; hence you gotta be loyal people. If you fulfill these simple conditions, you COULD be allowed to remain in India. It's a fair ask don't u feel ?
we indians are least bothered whether Paki's play or do not play cricket, hockey or gilli danda. But we do not want you to play in India. Paki's cannot be trusted, protecting these players in India is a waste of money. That money can be utilised in a much better purpose. Well done IPL committee keep up the good work, keep the Paki's out
do u think u ppl not participating in hockey makes a big difference to us????
do u think we will say..."omg!!! pakis not there in hockey world cup!! im not watching it!!" then get it ryt.....we dont give a f**k!!!
u ppl made fun of 26/11 (some of ur news channel)...u made fun of the whole of india by bombing our cities......is our insult anything in front of that????
dude not just from hockey...get out from cricket world cup!!!!
"The IPL was dealing with global stars with an elephantine ego, coming from a neighbourhood very sensitive to the decisions taken by either party. The best way out of such a volatile situation is to play with a straight bat, take a decision in advance and not when the crescendo has built up. The assurances of selection and the clearances given to them by the Pakistan government to participate in the tournament gave rise to false hopes among the fans and the media. The subsequent process of elimination was seen by the public as political and undignified."
"The IPL's auction hammer has hit Pakistan badly. Like a jilted lover, the cricket fan is heartbroken, confused and angry. The question he asks is 'How could the Twenty20 champions not have a buyer?' The league has a major presence in Pakistan, and the country's only sports channel beams the games live. Today, however, the mood has changed. The other great import, Hindi cinema, has also come under pressure. The sports ministry and parliament have got the knives out, terming the selection snub as a great Indian conspiracy to insult the nation and belittle the status of its cricketers. The players seem to be on the same page as the politicians and the media. This is not cricket, they say. All hell has broken loose."
"India are a cricket powerhouse, the international policeman of the game. With status and stardom comes responsibility."

Why is everyone so perturbed over Pakistanis not finding buyers? For sake of money? They may be T20 champions, but that does not dictate the people who are spending millions of dollars to "buy" teams and cricketers. Will they accept the same logic in a mall if one manufacturer resents his competitors items being purchased instead of his? Anyway, the snub if it is one, is a good one. Keep smarting Pakistani cricketers.
remember what shoab malik said after losing to india in t20 world cup.. he thanks all the Muslims in teh world( that include indian muslims ) commends liek that can questian Indian muslims loyality) most paki cricketes r liek shoab malik they r just diplomatic and hides their heart, these r third grade 6 th centuary thoughts they r mixing religion with sports. these people earn Indian money and give tax to pak govt that can be used against India by ISI, het them give us dawood , massod and syed

I think Shoaib forgot the historical fact that more than half of the original Muslim migrants to Pakistan after partition returned to India because they couldn't live in a hostile environment created by Jinnah and Liaqat Ali Khan. Indians welcomed those people back. Those returnees form the bulk of todays Muslim population in India. They dislike Pakistan as much as other Indians.
