Why did they beg in the first place?
by Sanjay M on Jan 21, 2010 02:13 PM  | Hide replies

Taken from cricinfo:
there exists another school of thought in Pakistan which has criticised the players for displaying their keenness to play in the IPL, almost to the point of begging by auctioning themselves, knowing fully well the sentiment against Pakistan in India. Greed could have led to this desperation to participate in the tournament and if the players now think their dignity has been compromised, they have themselves to blame.

It is not about begging , Then Why IPL raised issues on VISA processing , When they already decided to screw Pakistan and Aussies . It is a screwjob planned and executed

Uneducated man. A student cannot demand that he would give exam only if there is a guarantee that he would pass. One has to go through the process anyway. Whether he passes or not is secondary.

I dont understand why did they invite them in the 1st place and request the franchisees to bid.
They should have told that Pakistani Cricketers are not invited.

true friend!!Threat from China is real and it has multidimensional approach. They have already surrounded us with enemies in the form of Pakistan and Sri Lanka. They are in the process of establishing bases in the name of 'ports' in Sri Lanka and who knows they would have already placed their missiles directed at important cities of India. PLEASE NOTE THAT CHINA CAN EASILY WIN A WAR AGAINST INDIA WITHOUT FIRING. THEY ARE PUTTING US IN TIGHT CORNER AND THEIR ABILITY CAN BE SEEN THE WAY THEY RAISE CRESCENDO ON ARUNACHAL PRADESH. They made us not to cover the visit of Dalai lama to Arunachal Pradesh and none of our TV Channels were allowed to telecast and cover his visit. HAVE WE NOT BUCKLED DOWN AND FAILED TO COVER AN EVENT TAKING PLACE IN OUR OWN COUNTRY?. They are still issuing VISA in a separate sheet to j&k residence implying they are not part of India. What have we done about it?.

We are limping badly while dealing with China. UNLESS WE GAIN ECONOMIC STRENGTH AND WILLINGNESS TO SACRIFICE AT LEAST 10,000 soldiers the China factor will continue to haunt us. Our willingness in this regard alone will send right and tough message to our enemies. It may not take much time for China, Pakistan , Bangladesh and Sri Lanka to gang against India. THEY HAVE ALREADY STARTED DOING IT ON SEVERAL ISSUES.
