Well i understand the way the pakistani cricketers will feel but let them not think that indian public has forgotten 26/11 though it may have been a political decision...as far as Modi is concerned, it is our fault...we treat these people as heroes and they start thinking they r GODS and take any decision they feel are right.
IPL is a corporatized version of cricket...and all the franchisees have got full rights to decide. IPL is not a govt body. If these companies thought that investing in particular way is not in their business interest, what is there for any of us to think about it. Pl remember that all these franchisees are very very successful corporate groups. They are headed by corporate honchos like Ambani, Sreenivasan, etc.,
Foot Note: Being companies, the Indian Companies Act, 1956 clearly have restrictions in the nature of doing business with Pakistani Companies.
But setting aside all these, I think its high time we stop letting these Pakistanis earn money from our soil. Some points to be noted here- Imran Khan said cricket bet India/Pak is Jihad (this Jihad is now running like a scourge across the world). Afridi's bro is a known terrorist. Miandad is relative of Dawood. Remember Shoab Malik's comments on loosing IPL final (poor paki do not knw that no. of islam followers in India are twice that of his country)
One should understand that we cannot disconnect anything with politics. Everything depends on the populist mood of the country & at the moment the mumbai tragedy is still very ripe in the minds of all indians & would remain so till the conspirators are not brought to books by both the govts & they need to act fast on this if they expect to build a cordial relation . Mr Quadir wants to start their own league . Their board does not have money to hold one day internationals or test matches or even sponsors to hold a league on such a big scale . They would eventually have to beg for sponsors from our corporate houses , So Mr Quadir pls think twice before you open your mouth . Kudos to all the franchisee , IPL committee & the govt in case they have instructed the board .Why should we spend millions on the pak players ,fill their coffers & then they come and bomb us with our own money . Pakis deserve this for all the deeds they have done in the past & this is just the begining of their diplamatic isolation from rest of the world.

Sharad, you sound like a porki with an Indian id. First of all stop fooling yourself in believing that Pak is not a terrorist nation. PAK IS A T-E-R-R-R-I-S-T N-A-T-I-O-N. Chant this 1000 times every morning if you want. The whole world has acknowledged this as a fact then how does it matter if you think otherwise. Who are you? Just a freak blogger on this BB. Franchisee owners are putting their money in IPL teams for return. They mean business. Pak players will face tough opposition playing here and purely from patriotic point of view also, we shouldn't spend even a penny on anything that originates from this godforsaken country Pakistan. It is the devil's den. A large share of every money spent on Pak goes to their army who are in turn using the same to breed the terrorists. If you are a Porki, then please be bold enough to reveal your true identity otherwise accept that all porkis are as coward as you. boss.. tell me what good it can be to condemn Paki players, will it solve aur age old problem .And this "hatred" solution has been followed since last 60 years without any benefit.Why take a tortuous (roundabout)turn , if u have will and strength ,go and strike the terrorists in face. No u wont do this 'coz ur another of those disgraced people who can atmost comfortably abuse the country,its denizens and the fate. Very well said Ronit. No one can forget that idiotic sectarian statement from Shoeb Malik. And you are very right in saying that they are mixing sports with religion. Otherwise, when India and even England could have a Muslim captain WHY NOT Pakistan (and even Bangladesh for that matter) cannot have a single non muslim PLAYER – Not even a player in last 60 years. The only hindu player Pakistan so far had is Kaneria (and his father). Yousuf Yohana also had to convert for the sake of playing in the team. Pakistan does not deserve our Dosti.
