I do not understand why we select Bhajji. He has been the most expensive bowler and unable to take any wickets. His batting average is rather poor. Why can't we give him rest and take Mishra?

As usual, there are coments, counter coments on Sachin's "selfish century" against a "weak team". And he is no great than Viru who has breathtaking shots in his armoury....
After 20 years of intl cricket, what if he is selfish? Still his runs are adding upto the Indian total, right? While Viru brings in the momentum and demoralises the bowlers you need experience in test cricket to play session by session. If Sachin or Dravid or VVS bring in that and scoring, what's the problem for all those criticising them?. I am a great supporter of Indian team and love to see it performing well always, with or without the Sachins or the Dravids or the Laxmans. Let others prove and earn their place in the team.

The two Bangladeshi bastmen who added over 100 runs showed how to make runs on this wicket. Sehwag, Gambhir and Mishra showed that its even easier to score runs.
Tendulkar struggled to take the score to much higher total because he concentrated only on his century. He did not rotate the strike properly and as a result other bastmen failed batting on other end.

Go and get your mind checked up... India were 160/6 when the last tailendes came in... After that India scored 83 more runs and that was because of Sachin.. If others are not batting properly its not Sachin's fault..
We are scoring at five and half runs per over, we are playing against the weakest team & the players are walking off due to bad light. Are they trying to save the test match or what??

Looking at his performance Yuvraj should stop playing cricket for some time in all forms of cricket and concentrate on net practice
People always criticize Sachin Tenkular, but he proves his superiority in this match, if he failed then Indian Team will be less than 140 runs and India definitely loose the match. Thanks to him and I think he is still best from other players.

Good one Ashwin. In test cricket execution is most important and 30-40 didnt win test matches, 100s win. Sachin just applied his experience and temperament to see the indian inning through. And b'desh bowling is good and at par with others their batting let them down.

Had he not played that innings then imagine what would have happened to indian innings??In test cricket we need consistency not so called breath taking innings.I do respect Sehwag but remember there is no comparision betwn them.

mr sourabh dubey, the same criterion applies for all players. When Sachin fails in a match all are after him not knowing he is contributing in the same frequency to the team's cause as other players. But if somebody else does well, there are praised out of measure. The fact is that if our team total has to look respectable somebody has to score. When somebody does that we should never say that he did for his selfish purpose.
