Sachin's family would be more worried, because if he goes on playing, one day he might collapse and die on the pitch. Poor old chap is struggling to breath.

Excellent!!... If he is struggling for breath he's this good.
If he wasn't he could have scored 400's regularly, right? :)

Yes the difference is of 20 centuries but they need not worry as Mickey ponting can never ever come close to it.

see this idiot, always these ppls cries that sachin never plays in cretical situation(i.e. whenever there is need to have good runs) if u see score cards u wil come to know that it was realy critical situation this time and he played very well and still not out he may have lead india at some good score,if he would have get some support from other end.

I think you are posting the comments just for the heck of it. Yes, he has completed a century over Bangladesh because he is in the team. If he has not scored a century then India would have been all out for around 150 against Bangladesh. Also, if he does not score a century, you will be the first one to say that Sachin cannot score against lowly Bangladesh. What do you want him to do when he is in the team? Now you will say that he should retire. Why should he retire when you say? Will you quit your job, if I tell you to leave the company? Its his job to play. He earns his money by playing just as you are earning by working.

I have got a suggestion for you. Why don't you join Sachin Tendulkar as his mentor & manager? You can then tell him what to do.

Yup! We are proud because he managed to put a respectable total else India would have out for 150! He made 105 out of last 164 runs. Mind it!

Sehwag is absolutely correct....
by Unfriendly on Jan 18, 2010 11:21 AM  | Hide replies

Bangladesh is really an ordinary side. India scored 243 only because of their own foolishness, definitely not because of Bangladesh's bowling which was pretty pedestrian. As far as Sehwag is concerned, he has shown scant respect for Bangla bowlers. His 50 off 45 deliveries justifies this. If other batsmen got "scared" of Bangla bowlers, what can Sehwag do? He cannot bat for each batsmen. Sachin too has shown that the devil is in the mind of the batsmen & not in the pitch. Its confirmed that Bangladesh is an ordinary side, was an ordinary side & will remain an ordinary side. No need to raise eyebrows over Viru's comment which is absolutely spot on.

Well said. It also proves Shakib right when he said that Australia and South Africa are better teams than India.

So all's well that ends well, and both the captains have been proved right. :)

Whatever mate but you have to show some respect to opponents. It won't take anything from you. Whatever happen in next 3 days is another story but right now Bangladesh have put Sehwag in to a deep trouble! Sehwag even put Sri Lanka in it saying that even Sri Lanka can't take 20 wickets of India in a test match! That's too much to say!

Well our side got All out for 243 against ordinary side (for whatever reason, end of the day out an out), its time for sehwag to shut up and to put some more runs on board.

Sehwag was absolutely right in calling BD bowling ordinary. What he did not say is that India's batting is even more ordinary!

True. Also, he should have protected the middle order first, which wouldn't have brought the tail out in the first place.

Whereas the middle order and Gambhir played for the country and not for themselves. :)

We need more such performances from Gambhir and the middle order instead of personal play by Sachin, and we will surely become a Permanent #1 test side for all time to come. :)

So if a player gets out he is NOT great? :)

If a player does not ensure that the team never gets all out then he is not great? :)

Good that I learnt something exceptionally well today from you. But if that is your definition of Great, then no Sachin is not great. And no one ever has been great including Sir Donald Bradman, and no we don't care about your definition of greateness either. :)
