If you guys are keen about the game pervading into the US, tie up with a local channel provider and make sure that the matches are telecast live on a local sports channel. That way, the game will spread here. No use just playing here in a few cities like LA, New York, etc.
Modi is taking lots of undue credit for the success of IPL. Actually every one knows it not an idea of his own and BCCI forced to come up something like IPL to counter ICL. It so happens Modi is the person for running the show. If he is not controlling himself he will loose all his so called credential fast. Many of us know the cost of doing some thing in US. If things are not going well even for a short period of time, BCCI will file for bankruptsy!!

Modi is day dreaming. I live in America. There is absolutely no passion for Cricket in America. We were born and brought up in India and so Cricket is our religion. But believe me my son came to US with us at an early age and he doesn't care Cricket. I tried my best so that he loves Cricket. But all my effort is futile. He dreams to be a baseball player.

Vinod, Do you think Lalit wants to beat Baseball for no.1 spot? I dont think so. He is trying to cash in cricket's popularity. Any thing which "LEAGUE", americans will watch? NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL,...... IPL will be added to american's watch list.
We had wat a craze it was wen india - pak matches used to hit toronto, now with this idea mainly to have financial gains though, but i feel this will surely raise the crickets popularity bar to new level, with china already gettin its youngsters into playing cricket and if US enters professionally then no doubt cricket will become the most watched and played sport in the upcoming years.. . . HAIL IPL !!
