If the same thing would have happened to a team from sub continet they would not have carred a damn about the same. Since it was the english team that is affected. You will hear all the non sense.

BCCI would have ensured Harper was kicked out immediately, instead of writing formal complaints... :) Plus that country's forums would have been full of the "racist" Harper, and how that country always loses because of the umpires, weather, and what not. :)
