the main problem is bowling which occur every time & every final match.I think India should improve their blowing, every bolwer have to think that they have to performn each & every game instead of give performance in one or two game.

No only bowling it is the attitude of senior bowlers like Harbhajan, Nehra & Zaheer and also the Fielding which is below average.we need the senior Member of the team to take up the responsibility to improve all the department of the game,

One swallow does not make a summer. Manish Pandey can't be included on the basis of one or two knocks in the Ranji matches and an IPL fluke century. There are lots of deserving players in the queue for many years and seasons such as Badrinath and M. Vijay who have proven their worth with whatever opportunity, if at all, they have had but still they keep getting overlooked.

Quite funny. India will remain in the 2 & 3 slots till they can get all 3 departments working consistently. Some of the overhyped batsmen definitely could use a sports psychologist.

well vivek..if a Indian team losses to a 3rd strind Aussies side and a 2nd string SriLankan side...with these strong batting line up and the so called world class bowlers whta can you exdpect..Dhoni is living in fools paradise..the whole teams needs overhauling...do you expect a team with these occasionally performing batsman and crap bowlers to stay in the top....come on give me a break..I think its time for everyone to realize the fact

Dhoni did not say we are the No 1 in ODIs. He said we have the best team in terms of talent and potential. But we have to consistently do it to be No 1. I don't see an issue of fools paradise. Dhoni definitely needs to rethink roles and responsibilities assigned to certain players in the team.

i did not say about the quality of opponents or their rating.even indian team also have three /four new comers and these guys are performing well.the entire series is won by those batted 2nd.and that was a tlking point of the series .but your comments and comparison with ireland and bangla which had taken sever beating even from zimbawe.is emotional rather than fact based

There has been a lot of mention abt India loosing to second string SriLankan and aussie sides. But, no one talks that the same India won against their full strength side.
In case os Australiaa and Srilankaaa the new players have done better than hte ones they replaced. so, may b then Srilankaa and aussies also need to do a rethinking abt thier old horses :)

yes you are right..but we neednot be concerned about the opponents overhauling...we need to get the players in our who deserve to be there on merit and not for some other reasons and past records..you have in a way supported my point

The issue is that a good chunk of indian fans are immature. They have this unrealistic picture of indian team in their mind. And when the results don't come as per that picture they get abusive. If results happen, then they make lots of gods. It is just a game. Stop hyping it up and the players as well. Celebrate victories after they achieve the No 1 status, if they can. Another thing is, a good captain does not mean someone who wins all matches. Stop being in fantasy land.

I think Sachin has played an excellent knock of 138 in a Final in Sri lanka to get India the Final...so we should have more exp people like him in the team during finals...tht shud help ...
Indian cricketers do not have the killer instinct and commitment towards the game when it matters. They are totally inconsistent and do not deserve to be in the top 5

If the wicket holds good for both sides consistently, then yes. Otherwise we might as well toss and then declare results.
BCCI should get seasoned players like Irfan Pathan and Munaf Patel back in the Squad. We genuinely require the services of Irfan Pathan, who i feel is the only quality allrounder in India at the moment. We want BCCI to be fair in its selection policy.
Todays game totally a batsmans game with all the rules favouring the batsmen only with very little options left for the bowlers. We have to fight with our strengths which is our batsmen. With such a nice batting line up we should have done better considering the fact we are playing a final match with a storng team like Srilanka who also has a strong batting line up.
