wrong logic
by Anew Post on Jan 13, 2010 03:05 AM  | Hide replies

I am sick of hearing the logic that Indian team can't be no.1 because indian team doesn't play short ball well OR Indian team doesn't play well abroad. Well how can Aussies be better then, when they can't play spin and can't win in subcontinent. They are also winning on only 1 type of pitches which is bouncy. How come winning on bouncy pitches is better than winning on spin pitches? A good batsman will play good on all surfaces but how come a player who can play fast well but not spin is better than a player who plays spin well but not short balls?

Post:

You obviously missed seeing our recent ODI series performance against Australia, and the last ODI series performance against Australia.
They won on the same pitches you claim they can't win.
They also won a world cup and performed well in other world cups on these same pitches.
So I don't understand your logic behind "they don't play spin well".

wt happened to sehwag in last 2 matches?where was he?does he himself opted out to give chance to youngsters,if yes, then he is genius & non selfish cricketer.seniors like dhoni, yuvraj & zaheer should me shame of themselves.sehwag is always helps youngsters and a true team man not like selfish dhoni, who dont want to miss a match for a fear of losing captainship or to promote any other keeper

Sandeep Rai - would you call for a vaction from your work for 2 months or so to give a chance to an unemployed ? If you can then comment about cricketers who are making history without even considering taking rest. I guess I don't have to speak volumes to reply u r comment.

Absolutely! It is a shitty game which only India wants to play. This is the only game that they are bit good at(one in a while though)- the reason for this is they only about 7 countries are playing it and out of which only India/SriLanka/Pakistan are taking it very seriously.

Other countries and players from there are still playing it, just because they are fed some money by BCCI. BCCI is actually taking the full advantage of the fool cricket-spectators of India and feeling up their own coffers.

what did you say???
Cricket is a dead game????

Ya it is dead to you may be but not to thousands of ppl waiting at the gates of the stadiums to get it by paying hundreds... may not be in US and frans but in Cricket loving and playing nations. It is easy to rule out something but it is hard to establish a little thing.

According to Ian chapper India does not have a champion bowler, i think he may be right. We depend lot of Zaheer and Nehra to strike early, I dont think he is real strike bowler in the mood of Srinath, Prasad or Kapil Dev, Prabhakar. Sreesant got swing but i think he got training from Agarkar, he also bowling either full or short. So it is better to pick Irfan Pathan atleast if he gives 60 he can score 60.

Dear Mukhtar Ali,
Ask your PCB to beg money to cash rich BCCI. No other option.

Poor pcb is having no sufficient funds to pay salary to their players. Inspite of american aid too, they are deprived. For pakis, there need not be any max fixing , as it is a known factor , that they are going to lose all the matches. Dont get jels proki
