Instead why don't you wish him good luck?

Its easy to write what you have written, but very difficult to show your big heart.

Virat Kohli's rich vein of form is only to be expected, in a period where he has matured as a cricketer, by accepting the criticism directed at his attitude and working on it. he might lose his ODI spot when Sachin Tendulkar returns to the team. but sachin's precense will make him become better."

Sachin will take his own call not selectors. Sachin is helping youngsters and India cant have a better playing batting coach than Sachin. He is old but still the best runner and one of the best fielder in Indian side .

THEIR ARE MANY KOHLI'S WAITING IN WINGS.

THEY SHOULD BE GIVEN BREAK AND SOME CONSISTENT RUN TO HAVE CONFIDENCE.

SUCH AS BADRINATH, CHETESHWAR PUJARA, M. VIJAY, MANISH PANDEY.

IT IS ALREDAY OVERDUE TO SAY GOODBYE TO SENIORS LIKE DRAVID, LAXMAN ETC.

IT WILL BE BOON FOR INDIAN CRICKET.

Badrinath is definitely not other kohli. He is just another Dravid but we do not want another Dravid in the team who plays very slowly. He can be a good player of test team. Yeah rest three are very promising player and must get chance.

Dravid was the highest scorer in the 1999 World cup in England. He has proven himself in all forms of the game . His record speaks for him.

How many runs he has scored hardly matters. How many balls has he taken to score those runs. Was it useful for the team to win. We need to win every game, and not individual which matters

Is sehwag-dhoni dispute another ganguly-sachin
by vadivel kumar on Jan 12, 2010 11:21 AM  | Hide replies

There were nice relationship between ganguly sachin at the start of ganguly's captaincy even sachin was captaining the side when ganguly was on the field also.
After some time relation ship have become worse and ganguly ignored sachin's ideas and there were groups with in team which lead to down fall of indian team for short period.
The same is happeneing now with sehwag/dhoni.
Sehwag is a match winner who have to be used by dhoni but sehwag commitment should be 100%
If both happens it will be good for Indian cricket

Arshad Ayub's comment on Sehwag and used "hopefully" word & also the fact Sehwag is not seen in the practice these days he will certainly not play in the final as well & I doubt his availability in the 2 tests as well starting from 17th this month

Sachin took up the captaincy not able to handle pressure then give it up.
Sachin does not want to take up the captaincy for superstious reasons

It was eveident in IND PAK ODI series in India in a match ganguly got banned for next 2 matches.
Ganguly ignored sachin's advise and last over he was given the ball and when ganguly tried to set the field for him he asked him to go back with anger.
This was seen in TV worldwide.
Also in the series in AUS before the kumble led series in the last test in sydney sachin insisted to follow on and ganguly batted in the 2nd innings.
Every body cannot go and discuss this things often.

Sachin is god of Cricket. No one can ignore him. Ganguly was an extremely intelligent cricketer. So, he never ignored Sachin.Even today Sachin is his best friend. Ganguly maintains this for his existence and identity and everyone should follow him on this score.

No body denies the fact Sachin is great but we have to look into the future provide opportunities for budding players .Sachin has nothing to prove but he should also think of making way for talented players .Look at Kohli he is in the team becuase Sachin opted out.Sachin should be generous to youngsters .It is time selectors take a call

Still Kohli is not proved he can replace Sachin. Sachin is still playing well.& don't forget we are now playing Bangladesh. Kohli should prove himself on fast pitches. It is better have back-up's. Many Kohli's have come & gone. But they aren't consistent on pitches abroad.Even Yuvraj stugled to get into the Test Squad. Kohli has long way to go........

Yes Hindustani one should score against good bowling sides like Aus and SA. For example look at sachin’s staggering record against SA in tests- 20 Tests 36 innings 2 times not out 1202 runs with a highest score of 169 with 3 hundreds and 5 fifties and a stunning average of 35.35 runs as against his career average of only 54.72 runs. His record in one days against SA is equally impressive-52 matches 52 innings 1655 runs highest 122 with 3 hundreds and 8 fifties with a strike rate of 71.52 with an awesome average of 31.82 runs as against his career average of only 44.71 runs.

no doubt he is a talented cricketer but I feel he is not being utilized properly by dhoni and his company. stop gap arrangement would not do anything good. same is the case with dinesh karthik, for his aggressive and at the same talented too. And he is always put to team to fill up the vacuum.
